I was unfortunately contacted by this low-grade law firm, regarding a $61 medical bill that I did not receive due to relocating. I believe the junkyard dog’s name was Danielle. Well Danielle guess what? I have contacted a REAL law firm and we have remitted payment.

I tried to remit payment via the Nguyen Ballato Law Firm website however, for some reason, it would not take my customer number. Which in return required me to go to my bank to obtain a cashiers check.

I have forwarded all information over to my lawyer regarding payment. I have also sent my payment via UPS with a required signature upon receiving this payment.

I even added on an extra 10 cents for you, Danielle.
That might get you a blow pop if you’re lucky. 😂

Should I have any further problems with you people. I WILL see YOU in court.

Update: It was very easy to resolve my debt once I got in touch with the firm. I am updating my review to reflect the experience.

This company is VERY unprofessional!!! I'm calling to set up a payment arrangement, every rep cant help me and keep transferring me over to a Voicemail and i don't get a call back. I was hung up on multiple times. I'm trying to make a payment without them garnishing me and that's what they "seemingly" want to do. Every rep (BUT James A) was very rude, unprofessional, and low class customer service. I don't know how the City of Portsmouth has me trapped in this financial burden of unrealistic tolls prices. How do a toll cost go from $4.50 to $2000? Then send it to this horrible collection agencies that's just bleeding people for money. HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! This company is TRASH!!!

They're a collection agency..so of course no one is going to like them. The gentleman I spoke to, James, was helpful, funny, and friendly.

We joked about the robbery that was taking place on my personal account that the city of Richmond started for an unpaid parking ticket I didn't know I had. What was once a $50 ticket quickly turned into $120+

As I'm making the payment, I'm told there's another "convenience" fee of $4.95 taking it to almost $130!! Yes, it's so convenient to be robbed by the city of Richmond and then pay them more money for using my card.

Anywho, beware where you park and don't play around in Richmond. I probably wouldn't have paid it at all if the DMV didn't put a stop to my tag registration for non-payment.

Do NOT believe a word that comes from any of the workers mouth. James and Danielle gives you false and deceptive information. Handle everything through the courts system when you’re dealing with this company. They are liars and will do anything to collect. I have put in a complaint to every company I can to report their deceptive practices and the money I owe them I will not take and fight them in court over what they did to me. I was trying to do the right thing and instead they took it for weakness.

When you call them to tell them that you just called the company and paid your bill they get upset with you because you didn't pay them directly and now they have to wait for there payment so they don't like. Well, if you would write a letter explaining how to pay instead of just a court paper then maybe y'all would be paid directly. Your problem not mine.

I spoke with Danielle this morning about my bill I informed her that I was unable to make my payments due to a unforseen life situation and explained this to her from the moment I called I felt like she was rude , didnt show any empathy (should be key in dealing with any customer service) asked what can be done she said well just pay your bill on time ... in what I felt sarcastic way ! I am a person that always pays my bills on time and this treatment i reveived this morning was just horrible ! From now on I will Double Triple check which doctor offices I deal with to make sure not to ever deal with this paralegal /debt collector !Very unprofessional!
