Such a great place to stay! The RV sites were so much better than many of the other places we have stayed. There were trees between most sites, easy to maneuver big rigs, picnic tables were in great shape and they had a wonderful camp fire sitting area. Even though it's along the highway it was still pretty quiet and had some seclusion with help from the trees. The food trucks had such good food and a very nice atmosphere/ comfortable sitting area. The bathrooms and laundry area were always clean and available when we needed them. The owners were amazing! Very friendly, outgoing, hard working and truly doing their best to make this place enjoyable and comfortable for all their guests. Will definitely be coming back!

This place is overpriced. $85 for a back in spot, wifi with 1 bar that boots you off or you can’t even find the wifi and the host parked in front of our site partially blocking it, so we had to stay in the next site for one night. They accommodated us and moved their truck the next day. They were very nice about it but the truck should never block any campsite. The site says Alaskans run the RV place but the host was from Arizona. The food trucks, large gazebo, bathrooms and laundry were nice and clean. Would I stay here again, not for that price. If they lowered the price, yes. Hopefully with better outcome. They did have a community fire pit with chairs and fire wood. My only advice would be to add a fish processing area. You are in the huge fishing area of Alaska after all.

What a great place! We had a horrible experience at another campground and were in desperate need of a place to stay. We got so lucky! Moose Crossing had an opening. The spots are large and have every hook up. It is peaceful and well kept. The showers are clean and located close to the laundry so I was able to get everything done in one trip. It was such a treat to have a free shower and not have to constantly feed it money!

We stayed here over a week and they had everything we needed. Full hookups. Wifi on property but didn't reach site 8 well enough to stream. But we had regular wifi. We had full hookups, back in spot but there were pull through sites available. There's no fires allowed at each camp site but the offer a fire pit with a couple picnic tables and lawn chairs on an area campers are welcome to use. They have 2 Food trucks always on site, another one some days. The ice cream truck was wonderful. So many varieties we had something different almost every night! Be sure to ask about their "punch cards.". Because we were passing through, we weren't offered one until the day before we left, but you save $5 off your next purchase when you have filled your card. The ice cream truck offers full service, lots of variety of ice cream flavors, syrup flavors, and types of hand dipped ice cream. Whether a banana split, hot fudge sundae with whipped cream and a cherry, a waffle cones, or other flavors of sundaes, shakes and floats, other drinks including coffee. there should something for everyone. We didn't eat at the other food trucks but one was Cajun and the other was had a variety of Italian sandwiches, and other quick foods. Lots of people not in the campground came to eat at both food truck "restaurants." It's carry out only, but they have a nice gathering place with roofed outdoor seating area that was always clean and very welcoming. One of the camp hosts is there all day, but at night it's self check in. We enjoyed our stay and extended after the meds we needed to pick up were delayed a few more days.
They have 2 washers and 2 dryers that worked well. It's $7 to wash and dry one load, 3.50 for each. Honor system, sort of. You pay through a door slot, but the sign says they watch it closely and will remove your clothes if you don't pay. We washed several loads while here and never had a problem.
The showers were spotless, and not timed. 2 private showers in the building. We saw Moose tracks but no Moose during our late July, early Aug week there.

Love Moose Crossing RV and Food Truck and will absolutely be returning! The park is great and has all the amenities you could ask for. Clean restrooms and dedicated showers. The sites all have wifi, water, sewer, and electric. Their pavilion is great and my family and I really enjoyed having a clean spacious place to eat and hangout. The staff is fun, friendly, and willing to accommodate. They also have a food and ice cream truck on site that is to die for. The food is hand made and tastes better than my grandmother's home cooked meals with affordable pricing. My favorite fishing spot is also very close nearby and the fishing is always amazing. I would highly recommend Moose Crossing RV & Food Truck any time you're planning your next adventure!
