My name is David S. I cannot begin to thank Misfits counseling enough for making a uncomfortable situation of regaining my driving privileges an experience that was actually a pleasant experience concerning treatment. Josh (program director) is a wonderful human being who knows the experience we as clients are going through. I have been in recovery from addiction for over nine years and have been involved in different addiction treatment programs prior to my recovery. Through this experience I have found Misfits has the best approach towards addiction counseling. They don't tell you that you are addicted, they ask of the clients to look at yourself for those answers. I could continue to give examples of how Misfits counseling is just a very caring and safe place to help you navigate your DUI or other issues you may be dealing with. Josh, Geoff, Jessica and all the other staff members of Misfits are people the world needs more of. This group of people have helped me beyond words and I guarantee you they will do the same for you. I also promise you this part of regaining your driving privileges will be the easiest thing you will have to do and don't be surprised if you learn something about yourself. Just wanted to share my experience with Josh. Basically after being scammed into taking groups I did not need, by another local company I was prepared to just re take the correct classes, whatever I needed to do to put this nightmare behind me... Josh understood the issue I was dealing with and was the first to validate my feelings by recognizing the shady practices of this company. He was extremely helpful and helped me resolve my problem, something the DMV nor several other counsling companies could. It was nice to be treated like a person and I can't even begin to express my appreciation especially considering he would not accept payment for an intake. Josh helped me out of the kindness if his heart, simply because it was the right thing to do. He expressed to me that he Couldn't stand to see "Somsone of a Vulnerable Population taken advantage of." Which was not only what happened to Me, it was a breath of fresh air dealing with an individual not trying to Money Grab at a confusing situation. Given my experience, I highly recommend Misfit Counseling to Anyone that would appreciate dealing with down to Earth People ! Thank you again Josh !

Never thought I’d be rating an addiction counselor on google but here we are. That should tell you how great Josh was as a counselor. The content was useful and Josh is great at making the classes flow so you don’t dread going into them, which was appreciated.
