I have an extremely well documented and legitimate employment matter that I need representation for. I showed this place the wrongful termination message evidence and after that they asked for all of the other messages which I submitted in a drop box, and then they decided to not take on the case. I understand not taking on cases that are not well documented, but this is a clear cut case with strong evidence. I felt that Sean, and Christine just didn't want to do any of the work. If you are looking for representation steer clear of this place.It is frustrating because I am dealing with an extremely illegal matter that they just brushed off. I personally would not trust the other reviews. Keep searching.

As a fellow Asian, American lawyer practicing in the bay area, it pains me to write this experience. Manami Tamaki is generally a well regarded firm, but I’m compelled to write this review because of my inexcusably poor experience with Lisa Mak, who I hired for a personal matter and wasted thousands of dollars with for poor client services which included inflated billing (she would bill an hour for 15 minutes, claiming she had to prep for the call, when she showed up unprepared anyway). When I noticed I was charged $125 for her to send me a Docusign for my retainer agreement with the firm, i also pushed back. she was my lawyer for all of 2 1/2 weeks and somehow managed to bill thousands across 4-5 emails and 1-2 of calls. Lawyers like Lisa are why lawyers are still regarded as dishonest and untrustworthy.
