Today I was assisted by April on the DHS Gold team and she was so helpful and wonderful to work with for getting food assistance while I'm out of work and health coverage for me and my husband. Get that lady a bonus for the holidays or something please because she was wonderful. As a side note she got my food stamps through today and I literally applied on Friday so she really worked fast.

Also I received medical care at this location several times and they were wonderful and not only detected my cervical cancer early but got me set up for the procedure I needed last year to have the hazardous cells removed, all while I could barely afford the care to do that. This year I tested and have no abnormal cells! So shout out to them as well because I would have had cancer and needed more operations and treatments by now if not for them.

I know that there are limits and they can't help everyone the way everyone may want to be helped, but I at least want to share that there are people who do have a positive experience working with the department and the good people working there. So, thank you, and happy Thanksgiving.

I applied for Medicaid here and I was approved, but they incorrectly entered my date of birth, and it was causing issues with me trying to find a doctor. I came in with a government ID and proved my correct date of birth. They took a photocopy of it and did nothing. These people are very incompetent and very incapable of doing their jobs correctly. Be careful and make sure you stand over them every step of the way so they don’t screw it up. This has been half of your running and my health is only deteriorating and I still cannot find a doctor because these idiots filed my information incorrectly when I applied for Medicaid.

CHILD SUPPORT DOESNT CARE BOTTOM LINE.
Up date so i wasnt able to get the job because child support wont give me my license back. how can I work for 3 months if I can't have my license im a traffic control supervisor i have to drive. They want their money but don't want to give back my license so i can go to work $24 hr and I can't work that means that they would rather my amount owed build up so the state can make more money in interest.
So I have been in contact with child support and I have health conditions that limit how much I can do. My heart is functioning at less then 50% but I'm still trying to work. I have irregular heart beats that makes me short of breath. I'm only able to work when my body let's me. I was given 8 to 10 yrs to live in 2008 when I had open heart surgery and 2 strokes, I dont have any paralysis from my strokes, i just have numbness in 2 fingers on my left hand, I'm doing all I can do.
I told my case worker that I found a employer who will hire me to drive that I need my license back for $24 an hr. She refuses to give me my license back. I'm only able to work when my body let's me I have marfan's syndrome I'm doing all I can do. I don't feel she has a right to hinder me from employment with my health issues. Or maybe she wants to start paying my child support that's why she is doing it. But here are the emails between us do you honestly think she has a right to stop me from getting the only job I can work. Call DHS and let them know your options.

I invoke my right to be press!!!
For 10.5 years this agency has embezzled my money. Found out yesterday in child support court that there has never been a lawful order for this agency to withhold money from me. My baby momma's ex girlfriends aunt, Jessica Smith who is a caseworker here opened my cases illegally because I would t sign my rights away to her niece Brooke. For a decade this agency has taken over 600$ from me any time they can. They've sent 162$ of that 600 or more to my children, yet the rest, has just vanished. I tried to speak to Denise Kampf about it and was denied service. All Denise did was change my caseworker to Jennifer Chatfield. Jennifer didn't care about what I had to say at all. She enforced what Jessica did. Jessica Smith also faked a paternity test years and years ago. So to this day I still have no idea if 1 of my children are even mine. This is Grand theft!! Over 20,000 dollars has been taken from me and only a portion of it is accounted for. That's a class 4 felony and yes, I'm seeking to press charges and yes, I intend to sue!!!!! Check your orders people.. I know I can't be the only 1 these man hating women have done this to.

Awful customer service from people who seem to not know what they're talking about. Their mistakes directly led to me losing benefits, and their aloof inaction and lack of accountability can lead to the people they're "trying to help" feeling somewhat hopeless instead.

Amazing how there's hour long wait-times for a team that seems to do literally nothing all day, when asking them to actually do something is just sooooo exhausting apparently on their face and (lack of) action

Had to spend hours here because they cancelled my entire households insurance under the premise that we no longer lived in Colorado or received disability. Shouldn’t have to fix their mistakes that are so erroneous such as insinuating we moved out of state.

This entire building is an absolute joke. Aside from the health clinic, I would never tell anyone to go here for anything. Been fighting with them since early January on employment verifications I have sent in multiple times. I have turned in re-verification forms via mail, drop box, in person, online through peak & they continue to send me information about my case that is wrong. I have filed grievances with Denver that was absolutely useless… I was told to get online and file one through my county did that months ago still nothing. I’ve been emailing my caseworker for months, I have called and left voice mails to speak to a supervisor, NOTHING not a word from ANYONE IN THIS BUILDING. Going in doesn’t do anything because they either say “You need an appointment.” Or they brush you aside and tell you to turn paperwork in online. The negligence from this department towards family cases is unacceptable.

I have been waiting 90 days on something, I know that you guys are trying and really backed up. But thank God even though I’m set up to get mail for things, that I made a peak account otherwise I would have never known you guys are trying to say that I need to provide verification for a pregnancy, I’m not pregnant NOR HAVE I SAID I WAS which I can review my own application on your site to attest to that. And on 2/06/23 my case would have been denied and I would have never known had I not set up a peak acct since you guys sent nothing to me in the mail. Makes me wonder if it was purposeful. Looks that way. My kids and I desperately need help right now. This is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever dealt with. So unprofessional to not even notify me of nothing after 90 days of waiting and over 30 days since an interview where I was told they don’t need anything! Wow. I’m so upset. I wouldn’t have applied if my kids didn’t need this. It’s not me, it’s them!!!!!
