Ms. Carmela Porter,
I have not been able to locate your email address, but I do want you to know this and hope that you read this. You were the mediator for my daughter's ability to see her children. During the meeting, you told my daughter that "if your mom loves you enough, she will be happy to supervise you to see your children". How dare you insinuate that I don't love my child. You were only in that meeting for a brief period of time and have no way of knowing my family nor my love for my children. You owe me an apology for ever saying something of that stature to my child or anyone. You are a mediator. Mediate! That is all. You are not an authority of my family or love for my family. You have no idea what we have gone through with these children and their father. You should keep your family opinions or advice to yourself, as you are not given that authority. Mediate. That's your title. Don't try to extend it into an area that you have no qualifications for.

The mediator only chooses what she wanted to tell the other party, when negotiating which makes her not suitable for the job, and she talks about nonsense to prolong the time spent in the mediation room, which how they make more money.

I visited here with my girlfriend and I thought it was a very comfortable atmosphere and everyone was made to feel comfortable.
Variety of beverages were offered and fresh baked cookies were brought in our room to enjoy. The mediator was very helpful and tried to assist this difficult situation as best she could. Compliments to this place and although I thought it was a nice experience I wouldn't wish the visit on anyone.
Divorce is hard!!

I went to mediation thinking it was be more peaceful Carmela attacked me about personal things in my marriage related to my religion. I mentioneee my ex has said very many racial slurs and she said “who in here is black” and the guy said nothing but the cookies. It was very discriminating. If I can I will file a lawsuit

Wish I could give zero stars. This place was absolutely the worst experience that a father could ever experience. Some background to my story is I was kept from knowing that I had a daughter from the mother( she ran off and never said anything about being pregnant)There was no reason such as abuse, immaturity,etc.. fast forward to after my daughter was born I was informed by a stranger that I could potentially have a daughter. I got a paternity test that confirm that I had a daughter. Despite trying to actively establish a relationship with my daughter the mother made it dam near impossible. I had a ten page time line to include child services being called on the mother. The mediator( Carmela)was EXTREMELY biased towards the mother. She actively mocked me and at one point ask if I would consider terminating my rights since I’m active duty military and have a seperate family. Despite the mountain of evidence at ever turn I was belittled, laughed at, and openly told that as the father I had zero rights. Once she learned that paternity was actually established she asked why I didn’t give the mother money because there was no order to do so despite me trying which was denied by the mother. Long story short if your a father and your scheldue for mediation at this place and with this women please don’t waste your time. I literally was crucified by this place just for trying to establish my rights as a father. Dad’s if your a good man,responsible, and have the money then skip this step go to court. I hope that a lot of good men see this.

Carmela insulted and antagonized me the entire process. WARNING: If you are a man trying to mediate in a divorce case do not use Carmela Porter.
