Working with Aaron and his team was perhaps one of the greatest decisions I made in my medical education. I was unexpectedly dismissed from my program due to factors that were both within and beyond my control. I truly felt as if I were out of all options - I had even begun looking up MCAT dates as I was certain I’d need to restart my journey from scratch. If it were not for the simple steps of researching my legal rights as a student and being connected to Aaron’s practice, I would not have been reinstated back into school.

Throughout the time I worked with Aaron, he was communicative and helped me navigate what I now recognize as one of the greatest challenges I have ever faced. Perhaps the greatest takeaway from this experience was learning about my rights as a person and as a medical student, giving me a greater sense control over my education and ultimately my career as a physician.

I believe that sharing one’s experiences can open doors for others. I hope that by sharing my story, it will encourage others to recognize the power they have within to never give up on themselves or their dreams. For all students, specifically individuals that come from marginalized backgrounds like myself, I wholeheartedly recommend Martin Law & Mediation.
