I engaged with Legal Services of South Central Michigan for what I believed would be competent and professional legal court representation. Unfortunately, my experience with them was nothing short of disappointing and damaging.
From the first minutes, Alexis Adams is a legal fellow communication was dropping word "conspiracy"...which she mentioned before even introduce herself.
It felt as though my case was not a priority, with long gaps because she went to her supervisor twice and back with useless recommendations.
This lack of transparency and misleading response left me feeling anxious and uninformed about critical decisions and potential outcomes.

The overall demeanor and approach of Legal Services of South Central Michigan exuded an alarming lack of professionalism and was absolutely useless for my case. Response from Letitia Lee who is managing partner was even worse. She basically shut off any further questions regarding my case.
I am deeply dismayed and shocked by the revelations concerning the services provided by LSSCM, especially considering their funding sources. LSSCM, which is funded by both federal and local government grants, essentially relies on taxpayer money for its operations.
Given this significant financial backing from the public, one would expect the utmost integrity and adherence to the highest standards. Unfortunately most people from Google reviews got opposite from their services suggesting that system for low income citizens is corrupted and being broken.

What further complicates the matter is the broad list of donors associated with LSSCM. The diverse range of contributors suggests a level of trust and credibility that has now been deeply shaken.

Moreover, LSSCM has consistently advertised its services with a disclaimer, highlighting that these services should not be utilized in any manner inconsistent with the Legal Service Act and its accompanying regulations. This assertion only amplifies the gravity of any discrepancies or deviations from expected ethical and legal standards.

In light of these concerns, it becomes imperative for the relevant authorities to conduct a thorough investigation into LSSCM's practices and look through people responses on Google ensure that the public's trust and taxpayer funds are safeguarded appropriately.
I would strongly caution anyone considering their services to proceed with extreme caution and perhaps seek alternative, more reputable legal buisness in the area.

meh…given bad legal advice on the phone as how to defend an eviction action; by them.
Then told right before my hearing by their attorney that the defense they recommended I use didn’t apply in my case.

I was preparing a different defense, and could likely have argued it to a better result than just having to fold and stipulate to leaving because I was given bad advice.

I went there for assistance with my DTE account, DHS obstacles past and present, employment, legal shield, and Detroit Public Schools, banking fraud, and not being able to claim unemployment, etc fraud and I was turned away while I noticed some people from my past and previous attorneys twice. I was not heard at all while I continue to endure the hacking with my telephone , internet, and Kroll company.

Whoever they have Answering the phone is OBVIOUSLY tired of taking calls!! Do Hard to get ahold to someone and then when I did i feel like she was Not for Me.. She was Dry and Condescending0!!/

Place is a joke. Gave me advice on my eviction case then when I lost my case told me they could not help me because of a conflict of interest when I went back for help trying to file an appeal. Never answered my calls and refused to tell me what the conflict of interest was.
