There is something very shady going on with this place. I know, if you are reading this you probably feel hopeless and upset, as you are probably involved in a legal problem, but this place is not the solution. First, no one knows the connection between this place and Blue Ridge Legal, not even the worker. The best I can guess is one gets funding from the other or they are the same. I asked the employee and she didn't even know. All they know is that one is now moving into the same location as the other. Secondly, they simply do not care. They will not call you back and will waste your time. This is particularly distressing when you have a case. If they do happen to call you, there is an air of pomppiety. They will talk down to you and prognosticate your case before even having any pertinent information. Essentially, they are the witch doctors and snake oil salesmen of the legal world.

Regarding Mr. Phillips and his Assistant. The lady and the lawyer are unprofessional. The woman was very rude and falsified information regarding my phone number. I expressed my concerns in a civil manner and she became very defensive and hung up on me. She then admitted another number was on file but tried to claim she never said there was never an additional number. I would not recommend this place and the lawyer never took the time to see they changed my phone number and never returned my call. He sent a letter telling me to do the case myself and without a lawyer.

Reached out to them for help with maintenance issues I was having with landlord. They were very nice and respectful. Took the time to listen to my issues and asked to send whatever I had as proof of problems and that I had informed realtor of problems. Called next day to help me take care of these issues. Very grateful to them mainly the attorney that help me. I give them a 110%

The attorney was clear to understand our situation and handled it very well. It was very easy to find and close to the main route. I would recommend this place for anyone need of legal aid.

Application process is an EASY 10 minutes. I got my appointment the following week with the Director. The gentleman who did my application over the phone patiently listened to my concerns. When I became emotional for a few seconds he was VERY empathetic and kind. He was reassuring and soft spoken. So far, my FIRST interaction with them has been FANTASTIC so far. The meetings are over the phone.
