So if I see 5 stars on Legal aid then they lying. I called in April to get help on bankruptcy no one called me until may I explained I don’t have money and I had a job coming up the end of may but I still don’t have money. These people (Trent Craig ) told the attorneys they not helping me so the attorney declined to help me which don’t make sense. So I been calling legal aid and my calls getting screened and no response. I can’t afford to pay a lawyer even with income because I have to pay for medication. This is unprofessional and unacceptable I’m going to write the mayor and the congressman whoever

They don’t really care it’s all about the money. They say they offer free services but you can file all of that on taxes it’s all about the money and funding they don’t really care to help. Not Genuine! Brushed me off like I was just another number couldn’t even speak to an Attorney.

I’ve literally been calling everyday to talk to someone about my issues but no one has yet to even ANSWER the phone. They tell you to leave your name and number & other info for someone to call you back just for them not to call or even answer the phone….. I’m literally running into wall after wall trying to get into contact with them. If I could rate them without a star it would definitely be 0 stars !!!

I called to get help with a title loan. I was told they aren’t taking those type of cases. I never knew they can pick and choose what type of case they’re helping with. Why do it matter the case,help is help for those who qualify. I bet the government don’t know how Legal aide and Metro Action operates..

I AM SO GRATEFUL FOR YOUR CLINIC IN MURFREESBORO, I had 5 previous "so called attorneys" that never got anything done with regard to my Mom's estate/my trust. My current attorney I met at your clinic is by far a superior attorney and person!!

I have called for assistance many times and finally got through to a receptionist, Tina. Tina asked about the issues I faced. I explained the reason I was calling and she said the Legal Aid Society would not be able to assist. I explained the website listed my particular issue, exactly. She then wanted details and was more concerned with gossip than with assistance in a legal matter. This outfit is not here to assist members in this community. And if you need assistance, good luck!. Good luck trying to get through to a person with legal knowledge. They suffer like so many other Legal outfits where there lowest level employees feel like they understand the law because their job is in the arena and not the arena of answering phones or returning messages. Such a sham!

Was cut off of snap June 30th because my husband was retiring. Have not received any retirement money and it’s now August 3rd,2021. Contacted legal aid over a month ago and nothing. No calls returned and they don’t pick up their phone. I now have ovarian and uterine cancer and possible liver cancer. Two people living on under 1300 a month with medical bills piling up. I thought they where supposed to be helpful?

They’re always loosing lawyers and when your lawyer is no longer available for your case, they don’t call and update you at all. And it’s always months or weeks (depending on how long your case last) before they even contact you. You can call the office multiple times to leave a message for your attorney, but they’re on their own time. Currently seeking another attorney to switch too
