They do NOT help! What’s the purpose of allowing someone to apply. When all you get is denied an attorney due to “lack of resources” so then shut down the site, shut down the program, shut down the application process!! I’ve gone in person to a library and applied before.. I’ve applied online, I’ve applied through the phone, always denied! It’s crushing!!- however they will call you back one time or email you one time - and ramble words you can muster up yourself from knowledge or Google.

Also, the intake person is sweet. However, the intake person speaks as if you’ll receive a lawyer! Words like “your lawyer will call you”

This Legal Aide society is a real JOKE! I wish I can give them minus stars. I am a senior citizen raising a grandchild; just for your info he has been an honor roll student from first grade to eighth every year. I say this because I’ve been raising him since he was two he is down 14 and his baby sister is in foster care. I have been try to get her so they can be raised together.

I asked Legal Aide to help me get my granddaughter . I do qualify since I no longer make six figures. I have also asked them for assistance at least 4 other times; every time they say NO! I know for a fact I am being discriminated against. THEY ARE USELESS!!!

I have been in contact with this place since May and to this date I have yet to hear back from someone. I keep leaving messages with everyone and absolutely no one has returned my calls so I will keep calling.

This place is a joke. You call with domestic violence which they say they handle, looking for advice and they try to say it’s a criminal offense, then hang up on you. 10/10 do not recommend highly unprofessional
