Pseudo Saints. They perpetuate the issue by only representing one side of it and their existence is meant to close the door on the other side of the story for lack of representation. In essence, the proactive perp spins the machine

This place was a godsend to me when I couldn’t afford an attorney. My lawyer was the most professional and eager to please lawyer that I’ve ever met who was knowledgeable above and beyond my expectations.
I was well pleased at the results of the 3 times he represented me with. It saved my life and family and kept s roof over my head. There’s no doubt in my mind that that attorney will be running his own firm one day and I can’t wait to be the first to congratulate Ash for a job well done.

OK I apologize. I found an address. You have to go thru the website for "Legal Aid, Greensboro" and then about the third or fourth level you will find a tab for "offices" which after you get to that page, scroll down to Greensboro and there's the info. I've been trying to find someone to speak to our church group about family law and elder law. There were no apparent phone #'s, no addresses, and the website self-help queries end up as basic dead-ends. There was however, pages of boasting of "we do this" and please "donate". I was at a loss as to see how you can be so needed by the public and be so hard for the public to find you. Not only that but there seems to me a maze of interconnections of a number of websites....maybe my problem but it should be an easy, straight-forward line to help...and to my understanding, it isn't. I do appreciate what you do. Just fix the website!

I was appointed with an attorney through a Family Justice program during an extremely difficult time in mine and my family’s lives. The amount of empathy and transparency I was given was more than I could have asked for. My attorney, Jessica, was a great communicator and kept me in focus of our goal. Very happy with the legal representation given to my family, the compromises made, and all the effort that went into my case.

I called the intake line several times , only to stay on hold for over 30 mins then was told by the automated recording to call back or go into a physical location. I happened to be downtown Greensboro and was Google Maps, and it showed Legal Aid. It took a while to find, then when I did there was posting in the office that said " No walk in". That was discouraging, but I noticed a ring doorbell. I activated the bell and left a message. Before I left the office Paula answered and came up to greet me and copied some legal papers I had. She advised me that she would get them to someone who could help me.

No one to talk to. Voice prompts and several redirects. Come on guys this is supposed to give support to the oppressed. No immediate response can worsen people's frustration and leave them no option. You must have a person to talk to. This can save lives.

They do not even answer the phone and, to add insult to injury, their website mechanism to submit an online request for assistance has been disabled for months now.
