I've been here twice, & was very pleased with the counsel I received both times: 1st with Jess & again today with Lupe. Both were very helpful, understanding, & easy to talk to, making me feel at ease. I left understanding exactly what I needed to do for both situations (totally different matters); proof that this office can assist with a variety of legal concerns. Thanks again, Jess & Lupe!! I highly recommend anyone to go here, if you need legal advice.

I had high hopes for this legal aid service but have been left deeply disappointed after my fourth visit. Initially, I was led to believe that there could be a solution for my writ of garnishment issue, which I repeatedly explained involved not being properly served and missing the chance to reach an agreement with the other party. However, today’s interaction was particularly frustrating.

The staff member I spoke with, who appeared to be of Filipino or island descent, was not only unhelpful but also rude, questioning what I wanted from them in a dismissive tone. I wouldn’t have visited four times if I wasn’t serious about needing help, and it’s disappointing to be treated as though my concerns weren’t valid. As I left the office, I overheard the staff member expressing his frustration to a colleague, which felt unprofessional and added to my frustration.

While I understand that legal aid services are often stretched thin, I expected more care and respect, especially after investing time and effort to get help. Unfortunately, I did not find the support I needed here.

I want to thank Harrison for representing us during an eviction case. He was professional and thorough, aiding us during this difficult time. The eviction was denied and we will not be homeless. Appreciate how Harrison kept us informed and provided helpful advice and information.

Also wanted to mention we have also been assisted by Aleasa as well. She was assigned to my mother for guardianship. Highly recommend Legal Aid.

Person on the phone was incredibly unqualified and uninterested in helping people. She should probably seek employment flipping burgers or something else she doesn't have to speak with people. She intentionally misunderstood what I was asking because she didn't want to help. I would've given 3 stars if she'd just been honest and told me she didn't want to use any brain power on me. None of these legal places actually will help you unless you can afford it.

Despite of the somewhat indifferent front desk staff, I was able to be received by a case manager soon after submitting the form. Despite of being ineligible for the legal aid service due to our much higher household income, they still gave me a State Bar attorney referral number. Thankful!

Do NOT go here. The head attorney told me it was perfectly legal for Landlords to demand legal fees during an eviction process and can reject the monies demanded for a 30-day notice if we don't pay the legal fees as well.

That statement is in direct violation of NRS 118A.150 and NRS 118A 220(1)c. A landlord cannot demand legal fees be paid during an Eviction process. A landlord cannot refuse rent based on demanding legal fees. A landlord can only charge past due rent and late fees, period.

He violated his oath as an Attorney/Lawyer to provide truthful information and outright misrepresented the law and deceived the public.

He told me I didn't have a case. Actually, he tried to intimidate me and yell at me that I didn't have a case. This place is the WORST. I'm going to report him to the Nevada Bar Association and if they don't do anything, I'm gonna sue Legal Aid for hiring him.
