OMG Top Notch!!! My husband and I worked with Richard for the past year and had a wonderful experience. At our first meeting, he did not push us to sign anything or make us feel pressured to choose him as our lawyer; he actually would not let us sign anything and gave us a copy of the contract to read at home before deciding to work with him. My schedule was very busy and we had to relocate soon after starting the legal process.
Richard always worked very hard to schedule appointments and phone calls around my schedule, even though it was my husband's lawsuit. He listened carefully to our concerns and gave us honest legal advice. We never felt that he was leading us towards decisions that were more in his interest than ours. Mr. Richard J Serpe and his firm represented me in the national class action settlement with Taishan Gypsum Co. Ltd. Perhaps it is best described by me as "my Chinese wallboard issue" that I had at my still owned property at the Braemar Creek townhouse complex in Williamsburg, VA.
After 10 years, the case was finally resolved and my final settlement check was received in April 2020.
Throughout the lengthy process I was kept informed as key steps were taken with a number of responsible parties. The support and communication by Mr Serpe and the paralegal in his office (Tracy Oliver) was outstanding! They were always available and kept me updated in a timely, professional and friendly manner.
