I had gotten into some trouble earlier this year for defending a woman, the next thing I know the DA is charging me with battery. I went to see another attorney in South Lake Tahoe and just didn’t get a good feeling from it. I did a little more research and found Adam but he was very busy and could get me in to see him for two days, I was freaking out and very impatient because I had never been in this kind of trouble before. Man am I glad I waited the two days to meet with Adam before just taking the first available appointment with someone else!

From our first meeting Adam made it very clear what my expectations should be and how he could help me. He was also extremely professional and knowledgeable about everything, while detailing exactly what his strategy would be. Throughout the entire process Adam kept me up to date with what he was doing and everything that was going on with my case, every time he said he would call me, he did. I didn’t have to call into the office even one time trying to find him to get an update. The D.A. made a couple of awful offers for me to plead to lesser charges and still be possibly facing jail time if I were to get into any other trouble. Adam went back and fourth with the D.A. very aggressively, putting pressure on them to find me better and better deals until he just wore them out and was able to get my case dismissed!

I am so thankful for Adam and his wife Erin who works with him in his office also and their utmost professionalism in being there for me when I needed it most! I highly recommend Adam Spicer to anyone who thinks they have a case they can win. He’s affordable and well-worth the money. In my case, my girlfriend had a vulnerable immigration status so, at the last second, we switched seats, and I fell on the sword to absorb a DUI. The evidence supporting me was murky and a fierce court battle ensued. Adam helped me secure a mistrial, which we eventually plead down to misdemeanor obstruction of justice. To be fair, I deserved the obstruction charge for lying to the police and wasting a lot of people’s time. Adam also helped me win the subsequent DMV hearing. So in the end, there were no consequences at all to my driver’s license and I will emerge with my clean record intact. Adam is organized, experienced, and personable with the jurors. Perhaps even more importantly, (for when it’s time to negotiate), he’s well-liked and respected as a force to be reckoned with by the local judges, police, and DA’s office. He also responds quickly to all calls, texts and emails. He’s your guy.
