There are some really professional, knowledgeable, and honest people working here. In my experience, that's hard to come by with a lot of mechanics shops. For example, I took my car to a different shop in Clarksville first and they did me dirty! Overcharged me and held onto my vehicle for the entire day. Fixed nothing, found nothing, and charged me anyways. Then they tried gaslighting me into paying more for "further diagnosis", intentionally leveraging my ignorance to cars to try and scam me out of several hundred more dollars. You can find that review on Google as well as their really unprofessional response. I decided to try Lamar Auto next. They had my car for an hour and a half. Not only did they correctly diagnose it, they fixed it completely and charged a third of what I was charged at that scam of a shop in Clarksville. No extra diagnosis required after all. In fact, the fix was so simple that had the other shop actually done to my car what they said they did, they'd have found it. Hmm...maybe some liars working there? Anyways, night and day difference and my faith in humanity restored. I actually paid them a little extra because of how incredible they were. Lifelong customer here now.

They were told to remove EXPENSIVE stereo and all aftermarket components when junked for motor problems and left most of the wiring and simply snipped off wire at leads at the amps as well as left majority of plug wiring in dash as you can see. LAZY LAZY LAZY LAZY. The warranty I had with Best Buy is now null and void thanks to these jokers. It will now not only cost money to take somewhere else for stereo reinstallation but will double if not triple cost of doing so because of hardware left behind by them. Avoid at all costs. Typical podunk business. Update: 11-7-23 New ownership for a while now. Fantastic service.

Great service- helped me with my car after I was about to be ripped off somewhere else. Willing to work with you and they talk to you/show you everything instead of just doing it and throwing a price at you. I'm from Conway and came here and honestly I'm more than willing to drive out here again for the great service I got.

We were just driving thru this area pulling our trailer when the truck started shaking so pulled off first exit in Lamar. Found this place and just walked in. They dropped everything and took care of us immediately. Guys were friendly and honest. Price is extremely reasonable and would highly recommend!

Took my BABY to them and got it back with all requested repairs done and done right ! Added a couple more "tweaks" based on their recommendations and due to that it has NEVER ran better! Thanks guys! GREAT JOB ! I will be recommending the Lamar Auto Center to everyone who needs service.

We had great and fast service when we broke our power steering and front hub assembly during our road trip. These guys were great to talk to and will definitely come back when in town.

They were quick at replacing the headlight and the wiring for them in my mom's ford edge! So far no complaints.
