Disappointing experience. The other side had a lawyer. I didn't as it was a simple case. The mediator let the lawyer run the meeting like his own courtroom. I was expecting some help from the mediator to get to the core of the issue, but no attempt was made by the mediator to do that. The lawyer did all the talking for the other party, wouldn't even let them speak. I hoped for more help from the mediator to facilitate dialogue between the parties.

I attended the basic mediation training. I couldn't recommend it more. The instructors are extremely knowledgeable and professional. This place is one of a kind. If you're serious about mediation, this is the place to go to.

Attended the 40 hour Basic Civil Mediation Training and it was top notch. During my week there I felt confident to go into pro bono mediation and apply to the court system in my area. It is obvious to me how much respect the program has by how many reputable folks attended from all sectors and parts of the country.

Recently attended the Special Education Mediation training (3 days) and would highly recommend the same to Special Education teachers, facilitators and administrators as well as attorneys. Well worth the price of admission. Atlanta is truly fortunate to have the JCA.

Melissa and Shawn did an excellent job helping me prepare for a career in mediation! I’ve had prior training at a local university, but it did not compare to the level of instruction I received at the Justice Center of Atlanta.

Waste of time. Opposing party presented fraudulent info, and the mediator spent the whole time trying to convince me to drop the case saying that the judge wouldn't care anyway.
