I ended up not using her, and I got my green card a few months ago. I only had a consultation meeting with her. I'm sure she's knowledgeable, but I did not like her condescending attitude and constantly talking over me as if I'm the stupidest person she's met. Of course I did not have much knowledge of the immigration laws, and that's why I consulted her, but I hold a graduate degree with extreme courtesy toward others. I'm not exactly dumb, and I'm never rude. I did not have a complicated case, but I decided to hire an attorney. I did not have any issues with her staff.
[ETA] I'm not used to leaving reviews on Google, but I wanted to add additional thoughts since she responded. Again, my case was not complicated, my visa was still valid, and I probably could have filed for permanent residency myself if I had the patience. The quote she gave me was not much less than a real attorney, so it made no sense not to hire a law firm. So I suggest everyone to shop around before paying a consultation fee. Many lawyers offer a free consultation, give a rough ballpark before paying a consultation fee, or apply the consultation fee to the attorney fee if you end up hiring them. If one thinks paralegal is about half the cost of lawyers, that's incorrect.
