Unprofessional & Ineffective

Ms. Santos came highly recommended as a Co-parent Counselor but the experience has been beyond disappointing. She is not helpful, her attitude is laid bare as she is rude, unprofessional, and has the tendency to exhibit clear bias. During an exchange in our final session in which I questioned the rationale for her biting, negative response to a suggestion, I referred to her as a behavioral medicine specialist, and her knee-jerk reaction was a nasty ‘No, I’m not’ … well, I could not agree more; certainly not an effective one.

I would not recommend this MFT as our sessions were a waste of time and money.

Jennifer handled court ordered co-parent counseling for me and my ex. She was recommendation #1 by my lawyer as someone who is very experiened and fair to both sides. I was impressed by her resume. She did a good job at not letting our discussions devolve into bickering about the marriage. Jennifer was able to understand feelings that drive our decisions and offer concrete solutions to our communication problems.

Jennifer did not provide any therapy. She was a glorified babysitter who allowed an abusive parent to triangulate and gaslight the children. We're so grateful she's no longer part of our case. Do not go to her. You'll pay an outlandish hourly rate for her to lie and manipulate kids who've been abused. I might add, the abuser was convicted of the abuse and she still forced the kids (ages 7 & 9) to confront their abuser. She allowed the abuser to bring huge gifts during their first therapy session. (Gifting your victims as an apology). Every therapist we've talked to since her has said this is unethical and not a therapy practice.

This counselor is truly the worst out there.
She's more worried about her Payment up front then anything. She doesn't show up for an appointment that she makes.

Biased from the start. It's a no go from a mans prospective. She stepped over my boundaries with out a care. Not there to help the male component of the debate....any self respecting man would pass on this counselor. I did.....
