Dr. Jane Derk is the worst possible choice for a CFI. She is highly biased. Extremely political in her decisions. She will put your child at risk. She is way way too old to be licensed by the state. She needs to be looked into and the best thing that could happen to Jane is she is retired to a nursing home.

She missed clear blatant signs of abuse and danger to my children. She claimed their father safe and gave him 4 nights out of 14. He killed my daughters Cameron (8) and Audrey (6) during his parenting time.
She is dangerous and easily duped by abusive men, do not hire her, she will not make recommendations in the child’s best interests.

If there was an option to give zero stars that would be more appropriate. Jane should not be allowed to conduct business any longer. Jane is an absolute ignorant waste of time and money. The board will be notified of her actions. Jane was assigned to the case and did not know the names of the people she was investigating nor did she remember whom she was speaking to at each "investigation" conversation. Jane repeatedly would ask the same question and not remember the answer. Jane needs help and should not be allowed to investigate anything but herself. Jane is allowing criminals access to innocent children throughout this state. Jane is abolishing families, one by one.

Read the reviews on ratemds.com. DO NOT hire dr Jane Derk as a CFI. She couldn’t get any of the facts straight. She only spoke to two people that I recommended, I thought had pertinent information to the case. While on the other hand talked to literally everyone on the other parties side. The report was definitely one sided. The report also had false information.(I gave it to her correctly and she reported it wrong) She is messing families up one family at a time. Custody battles are stressful enough, there’s no need to have to stress over someone that is supposed to be “impartial” (which wasn’t the case) to simply rely the facts and still get them wrong. Very unfortunate. If you need to hire a CFI, I don’t recommend her.
