A Warning for Those Considering Jana Evans Law Office – Especially People of Color
Let me share my experience so others can make an informed decision before signing up for this service. This is not to bash anyone, but rather to warn others—especially people of color—about what they may face.
From the beginning, I was misrepresented and left in the dark. I found myself constantly following up, unsure if my attorney was working for me, the opposing client, or their attorney. The lack of communication was alarming, and I never truly felt like my best interests were being prioritized.
But the biggest failure came at the end of the agreement. There was no enforcement, no accountability. The opposing party was allowed to walk away without consequences, despite the clear terms that should have been upheld.
And then there was the money. Additional funds were taken without proper explanation—just stolen. No transparency, no justification—just silence.
If you are looking for someone who actually fights for you, values your rights as a parent, and isn’t just selling you false promises, then look elsewhere. This is not the service you want. Find an attorney who cares about your case, your rights, and your future.
And to those questioning this review, I have other attorneys reviewing the dialogue, and they are seriously considering action to challenge these unethical practices.

I wanted to take a few minutes to just say that Jana Evans and Her staff genuinely got a time sensitive, emergent situation taken care of in less than 48 hours.
Our only option to keep an innocent baby from going back to a toxic scenario was put in Her hands and She delivered!
Her firm also walked Us through Permanent Guardianship too Our decision to Adopt. We are now Mom and Dad to a Beautiful, thriving little Life.
I/We, are so impressed by the process seeming so seamless but knew there were ALOT of moving parts.

Goes based off of opinions instead of facts! Rips families apart! This lawyer says I’m not a fit mother for ONE child, but apparently I’m a good enough mama in the state of TEXAS to have full custody of my 2 boys! 🤍 But hey if you’re looking for a lawyer that lets her clients commit purjury multiple times on the stand, she’ll be your perfect fit!

I can not say enough about Ms.Evans and her team. I have used her a few times and each time she was fast and efficient. She kept us up to date on the adoption process and everything on the 1st time we used her. I'm not sure why someone would even say she is racist cause they are far from that. I am white, husband is black and the child we adopted is mixed and they all treated us very nice. We have used her agian for an upcoming adoption of another mixed child. I will never use anyone else but this firm . I just felt bad to see any reviews that made them look bad cause we have been more then happy with them!
