We were travelling for most of the process and much enjoyed the on-line ability to review and sign documents. While the buyers did the entire process on-line, we did the final closing in person. Jared Plewe was the escrow officer working on my home sell. After I signed settlement documents, he or someone in his office altered the documents. I am totally perplexed at the level of dishonesty. 2 weeks later and still waiting for a resolution. I have a copy of the original document that I signed as well as the altered document he sent out the next day. I assume he didn’t think I would notice a $400 difference.
