Treats you like family.. highly competent and kmowledgable and Brittany made me feel like she was gonna fight for me.. and my legal issues are.never just simple ones
. Its always complex but never the less i didnt feel pressured to take some thing i didnt want and she seen me with compassion and as a human who needed help..she made it personal amd i didnt feel brushed off as just another case

Mr. Black is the best, he is a honest and direct, a quality that mean lawyers don’t possess. He never once promised me anything other then being prepared for a fight. He is very accessible, I had his personal cell phone number that he answered whenever I needed questions answered. His staff was very personable and friendly, Michelle ensured all my travel request were submitted to the courts on time. I would definitely hire Mr Black again, hopefully I would never have to use his services again😂😂 Thanks for saving my life

Mr. Black there is not enough I can say about this man and his outstanding staff. They are the best in chesapeake hands down. He is a man that cares and knows how hard you worked for your money and he's going to work just as hard and harder to make sure you are informed no matter the question or concern. He is the best hands down! Thank you Mr. Black and staff for yalls outstanding job and actually caring for your clients!

Would not recommend. Do your research thoroughly on Mr. Black, he shows no justice in court whatsoever, my family member received a unjustified time just for a driving charge. When calling upon Mr. Black he responded very unremorseful and said that he isn't his client any longer . He gives no further implication of caring about his clients and ensuring that he fought righteously for his client. I wouldn't recommend him to anyone. When I say do your research on him, don't believe everything you hear on him.

Teddy represented my in a messy divorce and when my ex repeatedly "forgot" to bring a witness to the commissioner's hearing he realized I was actually friends with her attorney, and arranged for her attorney act as my witness and cleared it through the commissioner. Since I counter sued for divorce, I was granted the divorce instead. Who thinks like that but a very skilled attorney!

I hired Mr. Black to defend me for two felony cases. When I first met with him in January 2017 he stated my case will be over in March 2017. I later received paperwork that my preliminary hearing was not until April 2017. That is just the beginning to start a criminal court case. No where near finishing. I was denied bond in General District court. Mr. Black came to visit me in jail the day before my preliminary hearing stating he had to continue the date blaming the prosecution for not having sent the video documentation from the officers involved. My court documents stated he had the videos. So he lied right to my face. He has 4 months to go over the videos! So really he just was not prepared. I asked Mr. Black for my circuit court case bond. He gave my boyfriend the run around saying he was unable to get in touch with the prosecution to schedule the date. He told me there was no way I was getting out on bond. I then waited for one month and still no bond hearing. He told me lie after lie. And what criminal attorney does not accept collect calls from the jail I was sick of his numerous lies and lazyness and fired him. He then magically ran into the prosecutor who he claimed she was always unavailable before to schedule the bond hearing. And arranged a crummy plea bargain !! Don't bother wasting your money. Choose anyone but him! Even a public defender does more than this man! My new attorney said that good ok Teddy never even filed the paperwork to begin with for my appeal bond. And guess what ? I am out on bond when Mr. Black said it would be impossible. He is a sneaky liar. He will sit right in your face looking in your eyes and tell lies after lies. He managed to get $1500 of the $5000 he was paid. I guess the fee for lying and doing nothing.
