A little skipping around today, I opted not to stay long at the last place and headed here for my third office of the day. I found a clean, quiet and comfortable spot in a corner of the library where I was able to get work done, write a Yelp review or two and charge electronics.

This is a medium sized library but there are plenty of places to sit. Some of the tables have a power outlet. It's not ideal as a work or study space but it was good for me this morning.

We decided to give the Anime Manga night a try to see how it would be. Really cool that the Library hosts a get together over anime and manga! The volunteer that was over the event, I say they were the volunteer because they had a name tag, didn't welcome us or how we found out about the event. The volunteer cliqued up with the group of girls that were already there, and pretty much isolated themselves. Others came in later and weren't greeted either. We didn't stay long, because the event didn't feel inclusive or welcoming. No friendly greeting was extended, no rundown of what was to happen. Just a dark room with anime playing on the TV, Manga coloring sheets, and a exclusive friend clique. I hope anyone else that decides to attend has a better experience.

Staff was off standish, somedays they speak as you enter if they choose too. Books and equipment is outdated. I guess they are slower in comparison to neighboring cities like Atlanta. Too strict on patron having bottled water to drink inside the library (that felt weird). Hopefully, the city will grow as it acquires a more diversse community and an increase in population. Tax dollars and budget should help with programs and services they can offer.

I drive from the other side of town to come to this library mainly bc of the helpful staff! Especially Guiya, her smile and helpful personality was uplifting!!!! And I love love love love her professional attire, especially the skirt w/ the bright colors. Today, I came in w/ my 7mth old who was very lively and upbeat today. She got lots of compliments from the staff and gave them lots of goos and coos in return! The older African American lady w/ the low hair cut assisted me with getting a new id card and printing my paperwork and one of the young Caucasian ladies helped me print off my tax forms and I was super grateful. They even offered to gather the information off the printer for me so I wouldn't have to keep moving the baby and her stroller. Bc of their help I was able to do what I needed and head out. The other young Caucasian lady w/ the floral tattoo on her right side, even shared upcoming events for me to bring my daughter to. It was a pleasure to be in their presence this evening.

It seems people no longer deem the library a quiet place .no one put their phones on silence. Staff and patrons have long loud conversations. I love the friendliness of the hospitality the staff provides however, when people are trying to finish projects and keep getting distracted it becomes a nuisance., The staff members are very friendly and helpful. They are pleasant however there was this one staff at both libraries a female here and a male a Nola Brantley when ever they come to help someone the talk very loud and the crowd know the shortcoming of the users which I feel is embarrassing to the people they serve.
