I’m renting cars in North America for 20 yrs, I was never scammed through a reputable names Hertz/Thrifty. They completely rip you off with the final charge they make through your CC. They don’t email receipt. You need to call them back to get it. I was charged 500USD extra (total rental cost 1500USD for 3 days) and all are hidden fees.

Please pay in cash or get the receipt before you leave the location. As we will be in hurry to drop or get car before or after cruising we may think this is legitimate business like any other Hertz/Thrifty rental locations. But BIG NO.

These guys deserve a special thank you for being super friendly and helpful. They picked us up from town to bring us to the shop (we had planned to walk the mile and a half but were just exhausted from a super long day and it was rainy and cold). They took great care of us and even though the rate is high to drive from Seward to Anchorage, the freedom of having our own vehicle was worth it (stopped at lunch, Exit Glacier, Alaska Wildlife Center), and honestly not much more expensive than paying for 4 bus seats. I was not sure if it was going to be worth the money but it was for sure! Thank you guys again!

Staff (especially Dan A.) were very helpful. Gave me above and beyond effort to assist me when I had a problem with a rental location mistake (my fault really) and helped figure out a solution. His help saved the start of my cruise. I will always appreciate my experience there...blessed by it! Highly recommend this location.

If you're getting off your cruise in Seward and need a way to get to Anchorage this is the place you need to go. We made our reservation in advance, they picked us up at the cruise terminal at 7AM and drove us to the office, we picked up our car and we had a fantastic day in Seward/Anchorage before our flight while most of our fellow cruisers got a train ride and several hours of hanging out at the airport.
