The location of this cemetery is truly beautiful, and the memorial headstones are quite lovely. However, the process of getting your loved ones interred is quite arduous and requires multiple follow-ups over many months. The grounds are not as well maintained as they once were, but it is still a beautiful place to come to rest.

This place looks nice but that's the only thing nice about it. We have a couple family members here and get this the plots are outrageous around 10k. Then when are mom passed her only wish was to be buried with her daughter after being cremated you would think since you already own the plot it couldn't possibly be that much right? Wrong it was close to 6k to bury her in are already owned plot and here's the kicker you have to buy a special box only they sell which honestly looked like they use Everytime they pull this but not like you would ever know because everyone has to leave before they start burying your loved one. To top it off you can only buy headstones from them and if you want flowers put out for your loved one it has to be put in a vase only they sell I believe they need to be under investigation.

Both my parents are now in Heritage Memorial Park. My mom entered the then Redwood Memorial Gardens in 1997, while my dad entered the Park in January 2013. The views of Lonesome Valley from the Park are vast and comforting. The staff has changed over the years, but I cannot express how nice Herschel and all the staff have been in caring for our recent needs.
If the E Sarah Jane Lane and N Old Fain Road leading to the Heritage Memorial Park were paved, the appeal rating would be excellent. In 1997, there was little of the Grapevine Industrial Park to interfer with the vistas or road conditions. In 2013, the Memorial Park remains a beautiful place for all of our deceased loved ones.
The Redwood Memorial Gardens/Heritage Memorial Park is an endowed cemetery. That means the Park has the funding needed to always maintain its care. As quoted in a 1997 letter from Redwood Memorial Gardens, "You are assured of the everlasting care and maintenance of this cemetery and mausoleum by our endownment care fund. We shall continue to improve the area and enhance the beauty of this development."

Unfortunately my parents picked this site in the early 1980s and it WAS a beautiful place. My mother died in 1993 and we loved how green and serene it was. Over the past few years, my sisters and I have noticed more and more neglect of the area. My father was buried in April 2020 during the Covid panic which made a sad time even more heartbreaking. The caretaker was more concerned that we might spend more than 5 minutes after our tiny memorial at the grave (there was a total of 5 family members because of Covid)and she shooed us away as quickly as possible) It is now November and my Dad’s plot is still dirt or mud. We were told after his burial that grass would be “seeded” around the end of May. We are beyond frustrated!! It’s disgusting and neglectful, and it saddens us every time we visit! If we could afford it, our parents would be removed from this horrible place
