I wouldn't recommend this clown I wouldn't even take that clown for free. There are other civil rights lawyers in Alabama I strongly recommend going somewhere else. And if I could put zero stars that is what he would of got from me is zero stars for the zero help he offered me.

I recommend and I am giving Hank 5 stars without even knowing the outcome of my case yet. I tried many attorneys and he was the only one that would give me the time of day even with a bad record he still took my case and treated me like a human being and with kindness. Everyone is giving negative reviews but apparently does not understand that he taking a gamble when accepting cases and probably doesn’t get paid at all for some and looses money because it’s not always a guarantee. I am grateful for him and he is a blessing a to me. Thank you Hank for not judging me and standing up for me when no one else would. I don’t really care the outcome because the most important thing is you are defending me and you didn’t really have to take that chance. May God Bless you and your family for your kindness and compassion

This guy is a complete joke. My son Scottie Davis had a stroke while incarcerated in the Lauderdale County Alabama Detention Center and was denied medical attention for 12hrs. He continuely drug his feet on this case. He As well as I had and still have jail video and hand written reports as what actually went on during this 12hrs. He beat around the bush and got very belligerent and defensive if I had questions. This man didn't even try to help hold anyone accountable and never took depositions from the defendants as promised. Case would drag on for months without any communication from him and I would have to initiate the conversation. I know this attorney is going to try to defend himself by saying there were legal hurdles that I didn't understand or something to that effect. Not very truthful as well. In my opinion he was not goingDuto bite the hand that feeds him.

Great attorney. It takes a lot of time and energy in most cases. Mr Sherrod worked long and hard for my son. And was available to answer another call for us. I would recommend him to anyone in need of a civil matter. Thank you Mr Sherrod

Hank allowed MPD to get away with a serious crime be aware two officers Grant and Scroggins are still on the force probably still doing their job incorrectly Hank had all the proof he needed and still wanted me to settle with bare minimum AND he wanted more than me what a sad case . . My children at the time 5 years old and 6 years old were assaulted as well as myself (email me to see video) and Hank got them to confess HOW DO THEY STILL HAVE A JOB PROTECTING AND SERVING in the community I will not let this case go until I have a GREAT ATTORNEY . . Hank may be good for settling car wreck incidents BUT NOTHING MAJOR !! I will be contacting the NAACP AS WELL !!

So far it seems this man has actually stood up for people who will not stand up for what is right well he will hopefully everything gets resolved and justice is finally corrected for the officers involved so they know that no matter who it is we all have rights despite what they want to think of us as

This man did not bring justice to my family he took my case two years ago and waited until the two year mark to say he could no longer help AFTER I had asked for the entire year to take my case to trial . . He never showed my video of MPD assaulting me AND MY CHILDREN as if he was covering for the MPD he wants me to agree to ridiculous paperwork and because I will not he says he will have no other lawyer work with me . . WILL NOT RECOMMEND SEE RICHARD RICE HE’S GREAT !

I didn’t get the chance to explain what happened before he ask me why’d I call him. Then proceeds to tell me that no jury would listen or award money in my case. I didn’t want money. I wanted something done about what happened. I reached out to him bc he was highly recommended. This guy didn’t want to listen to what I was saying. Guess if it wasn’t a big money case he didn’t have time. That’s the problem- no one wants to listen. I do not recommend even wasting your time.
