I called today to file a report because my vehicles were broken into and belongings stolen. The person answering the non emergency number huffed and puffed and didn't want to take my info or send anyone out to file a report until I said I had video surveillance of the crime. It's now been an hour and no officer has come. Since moving here 4 years ago I've noticed the police do nothing to prevent crime and never arrest the people they know are committing crimes. I was blatantly told by an officer she knew who stole all my in laws belongings from there home and he was never arrested nor did we get anything back. I've never seen anything like this town with poor police force and horrible crime in my life. I've lived in many major cities with high crime while working in law enforcement myself but nothing compares to this.

An officer is give guns because he supposed to swear to protect not to use it for personal satisfaction and abuse the authority to practice his hate. Trey must get fired and charge for attempted to murder by falsely accusing an innocent black man could have gotten killed. Clearly the man had his hands in the air but the officer kept telling him to shut the car off so he can shoot him, he can see the cop face wanted to shoot him badly he was fighting the demon on his face.

The Police Department of West Helena did an excellent job of fabricating a non-existent scenario where a man in question was accused of "welding a gun" despite not having one near him as he was being forcefuly told to turn off his car engine or else he would be shot. The driver, being the the most sensible person in this situation, decides to place his hands up instead of turning off the engine in the risk of the police shooting him and mistaking him for reaching a gun.

If you want law enforcer(s) that do not make you feel safe while risking the possibility of you and your loved ones getting killed, then this is the right police department for you!

The guy in the video everyone is here about was loitering which led to police being called, he also had a gun in his passenger seat and that’s why and when the officer pulled his service pistol out. Oh, and the reason he said “shut the car off” is because he could take off not use it as an “excuse to kill”.

Respect is earned not given. Your badge is given but doesn't come with respect. Protect and serve the community! Unfortunately I live in the HOOD. That's why it's called a neighborHOOD. Can't go out on my run at night because lights start flashing and cops roll up. Treat us equally and you shall be treated the same. With dignity and respect.

I just have no words for what I just seen. This officer is trying to take a young mans life for no reason. He deserves the hardest punishment out there. I really respect this kid who kept cool and did the right thing. U guys really need to get your officers to fkin do their jobs right instead of making everything worse.

So are your inept cops that you gave a badge to in your organization of higher authority, importance than another human being? You deserve all bad reputation you’ve been receiving and much more.

I hope the people of that community work to get that man justice. You’re a disgrace to the human race if you allow this cop to stay in this organization.
