This is one of the smallest libraries I’ve seen in the area and they only have 2 study rooms which get booked quickly. I was shocked they didn’t understand when I asked about books on the “Law of Attraction “ or a self help section. Three of te people at the downstairs front desk said there was a book entitled “The Law of Attraction” but it wasn’t currently at that location. I explained several times that there are loads of books on the subject but no one seemed to understand. It’s a quiet library with a chair tucked in a corner here or there and a table with 2 chairs as well. Computers are upstairs. Staff was courteous.

UPDATE: The Chesapeake Library located on Eden Way and Volvo Parkway is definitely one of my favorite libraries in the area. My last visit on 1/13/2024 was my best experience so far. I wasn’t able to book a study room but they have several tables and chairs…some near huge windows with a scenic view. Great new selections as well.

UPDATE: This has become my “Go-To” library. Notary on staff as well. Kind and helpful staff.

I love this library. It's a bit small but the libraries are super nice and you can even vote early there! The kids used to be able to play with toys and socialize before COVID 😕 great location in a populated area

We love our local library: it’s always clean and nice to go to. Staff is friendly, welcoming and helpful but never hovering over. Children’s room is our favorite, our toddler loves it.

Very nice, friendly staff well kept it’s unfortunate that the non-fiction is far surpassed by the fiction books. Has some nice study spaces and public computers.

Me and my kids absolutely love this library. Such great place with wonderful books for kids to hangout. I enjoy the privacy room for the grown ups. It’s great for doing private voice recordings or just practicing your speeches before a business meetings. Just an inviting place. The librarians in the kids book section are always friendly and helpful. The kids activities that they have are always successful and super fun.
