My wife and I used Kelley Napier to do our wills. We had done them 10 years ago with another firm, but I was very pleased at how more thorough this new will is and how it covers items that my wife and I had never though of. We very much recommend Georgia Estate & Elder Law . They did a great job for us. Robert Jones.

Chris guided me through the difficult, but ultimately necessary process of creating a conservatorship and guardianship for a family member. He was consistently available to answer questions and prepared me thoroughly for the hearing. I appreciated his thoughtful and calm demeanor and highly recommend GE&EL to anyone needing elder law advice and services.

You really can’t go wrong with this company!

For over four years, Chris has been a trustworthy and dedicated partner in my father’s estate planning. Not only does he patiently answer my (many) questions, but the documents he ultimately prepares are impeccable. He even once suggested that we meet at no cost so that he could more fully address an email question of mine.

I feel so lucky to have him as our guide through this complex process.

I am very confident in writing this review of Chris Brannon at Georgia Estate & Elder Law. Chris came highly recommended from my same-age cousin, Sue, after a discussion about end-of-life estate planning. I felt very challenged coming in to the process, with not knowing exactly how I wanted my documents to look. Chris did not disappoint. Chris guided me through each document and explained what they meant. My questions were met with thoughtful and measured responses. I was up front with expressing my need for adequate time to work through and get my documents where I was comfortable with them. Chris allowed me the time, and after a couple of drafts, I feel very comfortable with my finalized documents. I also felt the fee was quite reasonable. I highly recommend Chris and team for any estate and/or incapacity planning.

Attorney Chris Brannon was recommended to us and now we would like to recommend him to you. Our daughter had been in the hospital for an extensive period of time, and we needed someone to guide us through the process to obtain guardianship and conservatorship. As you can imagine we had may questions and he was always prompt in his response to us. We always felt we were in great hands with Chris and his staff. In this process we decided to update our power of attorneys, health care directives and wills. This too was handled in a positive manner. We are so grateful to have such a knowledgeable and caring attorney.

I am pleased to write this review of my excellent experience with Chris Brannon.

After my previous attorney retired, I began a search for a well-qualified younger attorney to create new end-of-life documents. Mr. Brannon was on that list.

I began by dropping by his office unannounced to gather a first impression of the office. I only met the receptionist that day, but based on a positive experience, I requested a subsequent appointment to meet Chris.

During that meeting, I asked about his background and shared my questions and concerns. Pleased with the interaction, I then made an appointment to begin creating legal documents. During that subsequent appointment, he took time to answer all my questions.

He drafted the documents and emailed me copies to review, and then we met again at his office to finalize them. He arranged for all signatures as needed. He created three documents:

Last Will and Testament - Chris listened attentively to my wishes and structured my will exactly the way I wanted it. He also told me about a smart feature I was happy to include: a provision for Special Needs Trusts to provide for the medical care needs of any named beneficiary who may be or become disabled. He agreed to serve as the Executor of my will upon my death.

Georgia Advance Directive for Health Care - This document provides for my health care in life and disposition of my body at death. As a physician myself, I had specific wishes here which Chris incorporated into the document in priority order. The document gives trusted people the authority to fulfill my wishes, which otherwise could be difficult or impossible to carry out.

Statutory Form Power of Attorney - It authorizes named Agent(s) to act in my place for financial transactions if I cannot or choose not to do so. Upon my death, this authority ends and passes to the Executor of my will.

I can sleep better with good plans in place. I was totally pleased with the process from start to finish!

Several years ago, my mother’s hospice social worker met Chris Brannon, Kelley Napier and Jeanie Christian when she attended free informational meetings they presented for seniors and she was very impressed. She recommended them to me and I am thankful she did.

Chris has taken care of several legal issues for me. He has always given me great advice and attention to detail as well as being polite and friendly. I have also spoken to Kelley and she's very efficient and helpful. It’s obvious that all their personnel like their work and enjoy working with each other.

I recently updated my estate/end of life plans and Chris did an excellent job explaining it all to me virtually, since it was during the Covid-19 crisis. He answered all my questions patiently and in plain speak instead of legalese.

When the documents were ready to sign, he told me to stay in my car and he met me outside. He explained each document I needed to sign and had two witnesses ready to sign after I finished. I appreciate the care they took to keep us all safe with masks and social distancing. The finished documents were mailed to me after being filed and it relieved me having my wishes all done for my family.

The Brannon Napier blog is very helpful and have passed some of the information on to out of state family and friends.

I highly recommend Brannon & Napier for estate planning, probate and any other legal issues which affect seniors.
