Beautiful main library branch in Ft Smith. It is 2 stories with a big lobby, a used bookstore, cafe, and, of course, multiple rooms for books. We mainly spend time in the teen and kids area on the first floor. There is a lot of space there to relax and play, including study rooms, couches, tables with board games and puzzles, and kids' play areas. They have a lot of great activities for both kids/teens and adults. Check them out!

A not so hidden gem! Listen, never discount the library for a wonderful day out ? we had great fun expanding our minds and hanging in such a cool space + there is a cafe!

I have been to many libraries in the USA, both large and small, rural or urban as can be measured-this one is splendid for the size city it represents. Large, modern and well situated with plenty of parking and aesthetically pleasing, locals should be pleased with it for all the aforementioned reasons and all the not mentioned ones also. When directly comparing to the City Library in Odessa, TX it stands out in glory, although larger the city does not have a decent library. You can safely say Odessa Texas has much more money and resources partly due to the oil industry, and you can ascertain that the City Administrators do not allocate funds in that area or budje

VERY NICE! and quiet.
Pretty good adult section upstairs.. just keep in mind that it's a Fort Smith public library under Republican oversight with concern of the amount and variation of books available.. BUT ... Nice seating & computer stations.
They have multi socket extension cords to plug in your devices.. Basically it's a lot better than one may expect in a place with a history like Fort Smith, Arkansas
