You want to be very careful dealing with this man, Jack Cutter. My son is in the Lee Co. jail in Ft. Myers. A friend of his in Port Charlotte hired this man to look into my son's case. Why I do not know, this man is a para legal not an attorney. But being concerned for my son I called him to discuss my son's case. He said he could get my son out of jail if his fees were paid. After talking to my son's friend I sent Jack Cutter a check for alot of money, at least enough to not want to lose it. Jack Cutter agreed to return the unused portion. After he discovered he could not get my son out of jail by paying fees, I asked him to return the money. I have not heard from him since, does not return my calls or emails or letters. I will have to take legal action. If you use him ensure the service is performed before you pay him, he will keep your money. I would not give him even one star but I have to click one to get this to post. A matter of integrity.
Be careful!
I have filed a complaint with the Florida Bar, hopefully his para-legal license gets pulled.. I also saw all of the arrests and mug shots after the fact. I should have googled his name. He also shows up at the Port Charlotte Sheriff's web site, arrested in May, 2016.

I needed legal documents written up last minute, and Jack Cutter did an amazing job of accommodating everything! My father wasn’t able to travel anywhere, and Jack not only made trips to the hospital, but he made several trips around Port Charlotte to help my father, including the rehabilitation center he was in after the hospital and the bank. I live out-of-state, and even after I left Port Charlotte, he continued to help us out. I would highly recommend using his services!

After talking to a lawyer,to hire. I was going to spend 3.000.00 dallors. To start. The lawey decided to go on vacation. So I went looking an found Jack. For one thing,he answered his phone. After telling him what I needed, He then explained that he can do exactly what a lawyer would do an cost thousands of dallors less.
Made a appointment that day. Showed him the paper work an he kinda laughed at the incomplete paper work that was done by another lawyer. I hired him. He put paper work on the other people an filed them for me.
Im am now the plantief. Not a defendant.
This man knows exactly what what he doing.
What ever your needs are in law. Jack can handle it. Jack works with all the courts. Save your money an see Jack. You will be VERY happy. I am. Thank you Jack. O ya. I still have 2.500.00 of my money. Not that attorney.

I searched Jack Eaton Cutter as i have not been able to reach him. I discovered many mug shots, arrests and charges going way back. This is a shock to me because this far i believed in him and everything he was doing for my divorce. I paid him in full to complete my divorce and recently when i tried to call all his numbers they are disconnected. His office was right by my work and they said he is no longer there. Now i can not afford to pay anyone else amd still need my case to finish. This makes me sad cause i trusted him and he did so a good job. I even went to a church function with him where i used to attend the same church. When i couldnt get ahold of him i was honestly worried about him and thats why i searched his name...when i saw all the mug shots i was just in utter shock and disbelief. Never even entered my mind to do a background check on someone that practices and studies law. I feel so dum founded by my own judgement. As a few of the other reviewers have stated, be careful with this guy. I had the SAME experience with dealing with this man. I had hired him to handle a case and he seemed like a reputable man (judging by the bogus reviews his friends probably left for him). Boy was I wrong, what a scam! After sending him the paperwork i completed (twice because he "lost it the first time") my case has gotten no where and he has kept my money. I have tried emailing, calling and texting only to find out my number has been blocked.

As the gentleman before myself as stated. I had a similar experience. Except i needed help with paperwork filing for an step parent adoption. Its been over a year now with little to no progress to make a long story short.

Continued setbacks and stalling on his part and i found out this morning you can no longer text or call his number.

I will be seeking legal action.

Keep records of conversations and receipts just as i have. Your best bet.

I have never made a google review.... but people need to be warned.... I would give zero stars but that is not an option. He is a scam and you WILL lose money. Don't waste time or money. At least when you pay a lawyer they actually do the work you paid them to do....he took my money and then went ghost!!! so disappointed in people.

New client screening not very good. After two days we discovered that they couldn't help me. Big waist of their time and my time. Quick to take my money but slow to give it back.
