In my experience with Ms. Brown she didn’t respond in a timely or reasonable manner, she was rude and unprofessional, lacked accountability, and crossed ethical boundaries by acting in a retaliatory manner.

I was shocked that she repeatedly filed false claims to the court on behalf of an admitted abuser, in an attempt to remove custody from the safe parent.

As someone who has dealt with an abuser for a long time, I want to ensure others are aware of my experience so they can make a decision that’s best for their own welfare but also those of children involved.

Re the firms response - Tara Brown represents the abuser in my case, I never stated she represented me. You may also be struggling to find my name amongst your cases because, despite years of dealing with this, documentation (including official court filings) don’t even have my correct name.

It’s disheartening that the person responding to this review seems more interested in attacking the validity of this review then addressing unethical actions of an attorney at the firm that has hurt, and continues to hurt, a child and a family by filing false claims to the court repeatedly. But, that exemplifies the reason why I felt compelled to write this review, despite concerns of retaliation.
