A couple people recommended me to hire Emily for my divorce. At first I was impressed. Then she never communicated with me. After the divorce was finalized, I spoke with a numerous amount of people who have gone through divorces, as well as a couple other attorneys and they were appalled how things were handled with my case.
However, I give the the receptionist, Michael, five stars.

They did a great job. Amanda was great to work with. She handled business and got it done. They are great people, never made me feel silly for what I was going through. They were always very nice with my questions and concerns. Most importantly, she made it as QUICK and EASY as possible.

Best lawyer in Mountain Home. Honestly didn't charge much either considering I had charges from both the city and the county. There was no chance I was copping to something I didn't actually do, and she didn't ever ask me to, as many public pretenders would. Just got the charges dropped the first hearing.

The secretary man that answered the phone was absolutely RUDE! Then I went in to Mrs. Reed and approached the secretary and he was rude 2 times in the few minutes I was there.. so I left. There's no way I would trust a lawyer with a case if she allows her secretary to speak to me like that! Rude rude rude

A half star would be too much. I retained her for Divorce and Child custody with my son living in a house of drugs. I paid her and she interviewed me my son and mom based on medical facts. She promised me my child would never go back until a trial. She never served the defendant and did not ask for custody from the judge after interviewing my child. My son ended up in a meth house due to her. It took her 3 days just to call back. And just said she was willing to refund my money. Please don’t even get close to this place. In my sons name.

Of all of the attorney options in town, I’m glad that I chose Emily Reed’s office for my divorce. The most important thing to me was getting joint custody of my kids. Not only did Emily convince me it was possible, she told me exactly how we could make it happen. Even though my case was a roller coaster at times, I walked away with joint custody. I would recommend her again and again.
