Absolutely wonderful customer service. The Recording Office and DMV are so fast, it was a breeze. If you have any questions, they will answer them no problem. Up front they had two ladies who were extremely helpful with navigation. I am amazed how well ran this facility is. Highly recommend coming here if you are a Douglas County resident.

Although I was quick to get someone on the phone, the answers received to those questions on the phone resulted in a wasted trip to the office, as they could not actually complete the passport renewal as they said they could over the phone. The clerk assisting me during this appointment was sympathetic and as helpful as she could be but, ultimately, the renewal could not move forward as was described to me over the phone when I called to confirm the details that would have required an in-person visit. Mailing it myself would have been cheaper and easier than this process. Please be aware the details you receive on a phone call may not be accurate to the reality of the situation. In a pandemic, an unnecessary in-person visit while others are maskless may be a risk to avoid - I certainly would have had I received correct information via phone.

I was able to speak with a human within moments of calling. Nikki was friendly and incredibly helpful. She even thought of a potential snag I could encounter (when picking up my document), unprompted, and worked to get the information I needed in order to make things go more smoothly. If only dealing with government entities was always this pleasant and easy!!

The worst experience ever. They took way to long to send my daughters birth certificate and then lost it and now I’m stuck without one and they said that I have to redo everything as well as go through the state to say that it was stolen. This place is broken and I can tell you I will not be having another kid under this county ever again.
