Does not appear to be open. The website says to send an email, but when you do, Outlook sends a message that their domain name is unregistered. Calling the number you get transferred to Lakeshore Legal Services. When you follow the prompts you get a message that no one is available and to call back, and then your call is disconnected. If you check the Facebook page, the last update is 2020. Unsure if this service is even offered, at either Detroit Legal Aid, or Lakeshore.

I called to get some clarification regarding a case that I’m currently fighting. The lady that called me back, got on the phone and as I was telling her my situation, she interrupted me as I was talking and told me that they do not handle those type of cases, gave me a phone number and hung up the phone in my face. To think that this is the phone number where people are supposed to come with their issues and the things that they need help with and to see that this these type of people are behind the phones. I will never be calling this phone number again. thanks for nothing

When I called I was playing phone tag for about a week and when I did get through the lawyer was not helpful she gave me a number were they charge $25 for 25 min's and cut me off if I had money I would have looked for a lawyer I'm on a fixed income and don't have money on hand and still haven't found a lawyer and I need one real bad I'm still looking p.s but there sapo's to be there to help you right

I called and gave my information to one of the attorneys, and she said I would receive a call to see if they could assist me. I never heard from her again. That was over a week ago.

Was directed to the intake hotline number. Still have not received a call back yet. You really have to either catch them at the right time to get through. Or just call back every day and wait no less then 1 hour on the phone until someone answer.
