In my experience with DVLS, I have this to say: This organization is very helpful. They have resources needed to direct you to their partnering organizations and will try their best to help you. If a matter is beyond their program offerings, they will give you information to another organization. Coming from a person as myself, to give an organization 5 stars is huge. Delaware Volunteer Legal Services deserves five stars.

Angela Desmond has been my attorney for a PFA case. She has been an incredible professional. She has been responsive, attentive, warm and compassionate. I feel like she has demonstrated empathy and kindness towards me. It is clear that she cares very much for people and justice. Berma did my intake application. She is a gem. She was professional and courteous. She was also very responsive. In light of their increased work load due to short staffing they never treated me like a burden. They always took their time and made me feel at ease. I am thoroughly satisfied with my experience with these individuals and DVLS.

just gives the run around, no legit help. I was told i’d have an attorney more than once and I was given the same run around when the case came and went.
