They’re VERY tough to get through to. I tried the web form, I called and left voicemails over the course of a week or so, but got nothing. Finally, I called and never took the option to have them call back and someone finally answered after it rang for like 8-10 minutes. Then, the number they gave me for the attorney to whom I was referred wasn’t working. I had to look the attorney up online and call the number on their website, and he ended up just referring me to someone else. And I had to pay $20 for that.

A looped phone that doesn't connect you with anyone live. And if this is supposed to be free payin money makes it not free. This entity does nothin but to try and gain notoriety for the people that work there and through it. It says to go to a site but if ya don't get picked in time you have no way to address your case or charges. Meanwhile I have a city in dallas county and the dallas county court system givin conflicting information all over. One being told I had a charged that was dismissed mind when I try to make contact with a city in dallas county that has my property or my firearm they are tellin me the charge is still pending. I feel there is something very suspicious about a whole lot that is goin on. If I'm being told the charge not even a actual case has been dismissed but it's not by another entity that stole my firearm and charged me with it and is sayin the charge is still pending then that's extreme entrapment as well as the formal notion of the entity violating my 2nd amendment....there is something seriously wrong and foul at play with the tyranny of this county and the law and system. Many things don't add up and things are dysfunctional and corrupt with the dystem and its showin things or actions that any rational person would call malicious and falls into the category of scams. Something needs to be done and some need to actual do their job and those in the system to obey the law. May god have mercy on us. There is to much dysfunction and corruption and lack of performing duties goin on.

Called them from a referral from a Personal Injury Lawyer's office, paid the $20 because they make it sound like the Attorney will talk with you if they see this fee paid. Gave bad incorrect legal interpretation of Sept 1st laws that just went into effect and gave 2 names for which the attorneys will not return your phone call and the office folks are very vocal about you paid this to the Dallas Bar not them.

After sending emails complaining about not getting any help and several calls back to the Dallas Bar phone number I feel that you should know what you are facing. Best to keep your money in your pocket and keep calling attorneys or work your own circle for help because this seems to be a big bust.

You pay $20 to talk to a lawyer for 30 minutes, but the lawyer never contacts you and the DBA's phone goes into loops and never allows you to talk with a human being no matter how many times you press "0". You literally get ripped off for $20 and obviously, it's legal to do so. DO NOT pay them a thing. It's a rip off the way they victimize the victims.

I have used the Dallas Bar Association attorney referral service multiple times since 2018. Excellent organization and a great service for the value. I have always set up my appointments online; never a problem to be put in touch with an attorney in a timely manner (within a week). All of my legal concerns have been civil, not criminal. Every attorney has given me valuable and insightful advice; no attorney has attempted to charge me any money for a consultation. If you chose to hire the consulting attorney, then you do have to pay that attorney's fees.

This is a complete scam. I never got the return call. Their message says open at 8.30 and THAT TOO IS A LIE.

Came here in the sweltering heat for what I thought was a free luncheon for minority students. Halfway through the luncheon (food was terrible), staff went around and charged everyone $12-17 for food, despite there being no signs of a food charge. Paid and left immediately. I feel taken advantage of - not a good look for the Dallas Bar Association.
