This people are practicing law in Nevada with a California license which is confusing. I know a homeowner that they never show up in his eviction court in las vegas. He lost his house and never got any help to find out this people from CDLG had filled a claim to receive the surplus from the trustee without his knowlege. I mean CDLG waited for him to get evicted to claim this homeowner surplus. Careful SCAM

Hi I tried to solve this issue with the consumer defense law office but its been almost a year and all I received was our home was repossessed. I paid them in the neighborhood of $17,000 and went to them to save our home and to handle the wrong doing of the wrongful fulclosure. I was told this law firm had real attorneys that would fight for us.i am so disappointed that nobody called us for any paperwork or any information about the case so what could that have done about the case.
I just wak to retrive a new counsel on the wrongful doings of this case.

These people solicited my mother promising they were going to save her house. They took her money for representation and attorney fees and never called her back. They failed to appear in court once my mom's house had been sold. They never returned her calls, even when the judge at the court dates called them. They told her to sign papers for representation. Then they submitted under Attorney Anthony Caras name bogus petitions that he failed to support , represent or litigate. They grossly misadvised her to not resubmit a bankruptcy after the first one was missing documents. She followed their instructions and Shortly there after her home was sold and sold again and again. All without my mom's knowledge. Then immediately she was served with eviction paper. They never returned her money. She was left with nothing.

Trust them was the worst mistake my mom did. They cost her home. She is a senior. Shame on you Anthony Cara, Consumer Defense and Consumer Assistance. They have done this to many families before. Look them up on the better business bureau. They have previous complaints for similar wrong doing to other families. Please do your research, call the California Bar Association.

I know how scary losing your home is. I didn't know there where insidious vultures like these groups. Please beware. Be careful who you ask for help from , who you tell. Property in California is very sought after. People will do anything to steal it from the elderly and disadvantaged.

Please do not use them! Please call the California Bar Association for referral to reputable representation.

This place is a scam! They told me they would help me with my foreclosure and all they did was take me for $6,000 dollars! They are the leaches of our society! They prey on innocent helpless people that are vulnerable. I fired them and they sent me some cancellation document that I am sure is just a ploy. I will be contacting the Attorney General and the FBI. I will not rest until I get these scam artist shut down! Once I demanded my money back they have stopped taking my calls and not responding to any emails. Please let everyone you know to never work with these people!
