The class was excellent quality with a ton of great information on proper safety, handling, and what to do if you ever find yourself in a situation where you have to defend yourself. I have now taken two courses from Mark and both were excellent. Mark focuses on safety and common sense first. He also explains how the law affects gun owners and how to behave in challenging situations to ensure the best outcome. He is level headed and no nonsense which is critical when learning about how to properly use dangerous objects. Equally important, Mark is generous with his time, knowledge and expertise. For example, after taking his recent Basic Pistol Class, a couple of us in the class asked if we could have extra range time to extend our qual levels. Mark offered to meet us at the range and once there he gave us additional training and provided us with valuable shooting coaching - all on his own time and refusing any compensation. I highly recommend Mark for any needs you may have including just informally drawing on his experience and expertise if you need advice. Mark is a straight shooter in all senses of the words!
