It was my first time "working" with this company. Unfortunately every time they called, I couldn't understand a word they said on my voice mail. Everytime I called back I got no answer and left a message on their general voice mail, no response back. They obviously don't relay messages but, without knowing what information they needed, I couldn't leave a proper message to what was being requested of me. I will say, at first I thought it was a scam call. Not a good first impression. I finally contacted my client's case manager and got it all sorted out. Your employees need to speak slowly and clearly. Heavy accents are expected but the quick slur of their speech makes it difficult to understand when they talk too fast, which adds to the scam call feeling. I didn't want to return the call nor give out any information.

This company is absolutely ridiculous! I work in a medical office and their “records department” have no clue what they are doing. I’m not sure how many times they have to request something be sent to them before they figure out where to find it. I have sent the same thing to 4 different fax numbers and 2 emails and they are still saying it’s our fault it hasn’t been received, 3 months later.
Do yourself and your company a favor and STAY AWAY if you don’t want the headache.

If you need records, Don’t do business with these guys. I work in medical records and I deal with them often. I always have to email them everything they request multiple times. They will acknowledge they received what they need and then a couple hours later email me as if they never received anything at all. My turn around time for invoices are often same day. When I receive payment for records I send them the same day. But it sometimes takes a month for them to stop harassing me and realize that they have had what they needed all along. I am writing this review because I deal with them often and it makes my job needlessly more difficult. I do not want to deal of with compex anymore if i ca help it. I hope this review helps make my job easier. Just use a different records service if you must.

Their customer service is the worst. Records were not provided and when I called to find out how to receive them, they did not have any information except to call a separate number, that no one ever answers. You can't get anywhere and when you question why, they just hang up on you like it isn't their problem...

Will never hire for subpoena service again. During the pandemic, multiple different process servers working for them provided us certificates of service indicating they had personally served the business. Those businesses were closed at the time. After days of following up, we were told they just mailed them and gave us paperwork declaring under perjury they were hand delivered.

After a few years, I decided to give them a 2nd chance. They attempted to serve a government agency... apparently via email? When the agency reached out in response to the emails, Compex still couldn't figure out how to serve them, so the agency actually set up an appointment for the server to come. After Compex missed the appointment, I received an email from the agency complaining of the lack of professionalism. I reached out to customer service to get them to correct this. They set up another appointment and unbelievably missed it AGAIN. Needless to say, we did not give them a third chance. Stay away.

Less than professional. Representatives of this company struggle to complete simple tasks. Never get anything done timely. They should not be in business.

Not enough training and the manger trainer would do too many tasks to train and needed more time to train. Was overwhelmed to ask questions because the trainer would be impatient, u would have to call 65 custodians for records and so many promises and If u don’t make calls and got to fix an issues they’d would wonder why. I wouldn’t recommend this job .
