I have been trying to get anyone to answer the phone and all I keep getting is a recording. They repeat over and over the same commercial but no one answers. I am helping a young woman with no income to get legal advice regarding a divorce and cannot get her the help she needs. What is going on? You dont deserve the 1 star I gave but I have to give it.. Not happy with this place and will never refer it.

I keep calling for help and nobody never answers the phone. I have serious legal issues that I need to discuss, i can't afford a paid lawyer due to my disability.

There isn't a reason why there isn't a voicemail set up for this company or why they don't have a call back feature. You have to redial like it's 1980. It can take 30 minutes of redialing just to get through and then you have to wait another 30 minutes in the phone queue.

Then you have to share everything about yourself to an intake employee who isn't an attorney and could share all of your information with anyone, anywhere. I understand they need to know who qualifies but there's no reason to share financial information over the phone with someone who isn't an attorney. THEN they pick and choose who they will assist. If you're actually selected they will give you the worst attorneys in the area to work on your case. I've seen public defenders with more passion. The attorneys aren't actually expecting to go to a trial or file anything. They're basically mediators and will share personal information about you to the opposing side, even when it isn't necessary. I had an attorney who was egotistical and led me down the wrong path for my case at least two times. It was a nightmare, a waste of time and it only gave the other side more ammunition because they could sense I was dealing with a dud of a lawyer. I know times are hard but you would be better off filing your own paperwork or using another organization.

I also had a friend who used them once before and it didn't end well for him either. He tried to use them again since they were the last attorneys with the case and they denied assisting him although he qualified. They will destroy your case and then refuse to correct their mistakes when their little mediation contracts don't work out. Stay away from them unless you're desperate.

They were very helpful and assisted me with completing the required divorce documents in order to file the case on my own. The reason for the four star ranking is because I had a lot of trouble getting through the recordings to get connected to a live person. Calling in ends up being very time consuming.

I had a great experience with legal services they were awesome helped me a lot with giving me the papers I need to fill out. I would have given them a 5 star but trying to get a hold of some one took a long time my wait on hold was an hour and 10 minutes so if you call make sure you have the time. I have called for 2 days straight prior and got no one but on the 3rd day I finally talked to Ms. Jackson she was awesome. She gave me all the info that I needed.

I called everyday for a week!! I couldn't get anyone. There was no call back. There was no waiting for someone to talk to. AllI was informed from a recording no less was to keep trying to call back. Whilst I understand being busy, having people constantly hit redial is a bit much. I was also informed to use the onling chat but if I did this I was given a phone number and also informed to keep trying.

So not only did I never speak to anyone... I never got assistance.
* I also did the application and got a phone call to call the hotline that yuo can never get into.

Contacted this place, spoke with a rep, Theresa, very professional, very courteous, super helpful, very apologetic about not being able to take my case, very patient and understanding (5 ? for her work). Unfortunately, they couldn't help me because of a "conflict of interest" clause possibly based on an unfounded case that was never pursued by the an adverse applicant. Because of this, I've lost my chance with them of getting any affordable assistance. Hopefully, they'll maybe consider changing their bylaws some day when it comes to relevant cases, based on county-to-county assistance.
