No idea how I've never written a review. Let me wrap this up. I was a father in Virginia assigned with Naval Special Warfare Group 2. I was awarded custody because of Mary. When I retired I was permitted to move back to Florida and maintain custody. I was burnt by every judge custody wise and child support until I hired Mary on my team. She speaks the truth and will put the work in for you. That ridiculous woman giving 1 star below me just got reported by me. Reminds me of what Mary had to fight against for myself. If your a Navy SEAL or within the NSW or DEVGRU community and have your life together and facts straight hire Mary!

I highly recommend against this attorney. I only experienced a consultation so I can only imagine legal assistance in court. Mary Commander was rude, unprofessional, chastised me and talked down to me including telling me my 1 month old baby eats too frequently and force a bottle when concerning visitation with her father. I understand she was to make me aware of the laws and what’s to come but there is a way to do it and her positioning toward me was disgusting and unacceptable.

Mary, Abby, and the whole team are rockstars! I can’t say enough how much I appreciate how thoughtful, even-keeled, and diligently Commander law counseled me on a very contentious divorce process. It’s unfortunate we were up against a hot-headed and horse-blinded competing counsel, and an unpredictable defendant that reneged on numerous items post judicial settlement conference. I wish the whole thing would have cost me less, but I was always assured by Mary’s and Abby’s professionalism that they were outstanding stewards of my money. The same cannot be said for opposing counsel, unfortunate for my ex and for myself in turn. But hey, what can you do?

I was sold from day one. I appreciated the candor and the fact that she didn’t want to immediately take my money like the other three lawyers I consulted with.

Mary did her absolute best for my complicated case, and while it could have turned out better, it could have turned out much worse. And such is life and the art of compromise…
