So we hired Roy to help my husband with something. We went to court the first time and Roy did nothing to defend my husband. NOTHING! my husband paid him $2200 to hire him and that was all he owed. Well we the went to court the 2nd time and Roy AGAIN did nothing to defend my husband with a case we had.
He would say, “ I will take care of you , don’t worry. I will help you. “. He didn’t take care of anything. He just kinda shrugged his shoulders like oh well.
We went to court again to appeal something and the judge told my husband that he would let him get rid of what he had going. Well everything was ok. Well the Roy emailed my husband and said the he owed $750 dollars for extra work that he went above and beyond to get the outcome we did. And then he told my husband that, “I cannot control the judge.” He said if we do not pay him he will take us to small claims court, get a judgement on him and take it from you, the choice is yours. He never said a word about my husband having to pay more. I will never recommend anyone to him.

Well after reading some of the shady reviews let me leave you with mine.

Roy was a great lawyer, communication was had by both parties (a must he can’t do it all), he was professional while hilarious at the same time, he was caring while serious and he was there for me in a hard time. Anytime a lawyer is needed it is hard. He made me feel at ease he didn’t judge me in any of my time of need.

Do not let others bad reviews feature you from your future and what you need to find in a good, honest and relaxed lawyer.

Hiring Roy Cole for my divorce was the worst mistake I made. My problems would have been avoided if I simply would have hired a below average lawyer or even represented myself. Because of his negligence and poor work ethic, he missed a critical typo before having me sign the divorce papers which granted my abusive ex husband more custody then agreed to in mediation. I think he does a poor job so cases get prolonged and he can charge more money. He kept charging me more money to fix HIS ERROR. Only a dishonest lawyer would keep charging a client for an ERROR HE MADE! Any other profession would fix the mistake at no cost or provide a refund. He did neither. So If you want to waste money, miss critical deadlines, prolong your divorce and have an attorney that can be walked all over by the opposing side, hire Roy Cole. He also wouldnt fight for me with the sale of my house. I wanted 50%, he had me settle on a dollar amount. Well my ex got almost $100,000 and i got $34,000.

I hired Ray for a short period of time. He was rude. He was unprofessional. He basically said I did not have a say in how he approached my case and that he would fire me unless I followed what he wanted. He charged a lot of money and got nothing done.

I was wrongfully charged with a ridiculous accusation and I don't have a record, with his help and expertise, we have finally put the whole thing to bed. The dude is a badass to say the least.
