I came as a treat to myself. I had come last year for the Deepak Chopra Reset then returned in April this year and back in October for my birthday. The staff was very kind, leaving a lovely treat in my room upon check in. Many staff wishing me a Happy Birthday over the weekend. This place is a sanctuary of peace and restoration. The Spa has exceptional very well trained staff. Every service I have had there is top notch and I have been to many many spas all over the world. The variety of classes is also something to admire as I can not imagine trying to create that many . The scheduling system is easy to use . The instructors all are high level and love their jobs. You feel this from them. The resort is beautiful with unbelievable Cacti , very old and very cared for. The mountains are so picturesque. The Sun sets are Magnificent. Treat yourself to a trip here. You won't regret it.

My class experiences gives this a 5/5 experience. On the resort and off the resort the classes really gave me peace and calmness I needed for this solo journey of wellness. Thank you to all the CIVANA instructors because you all impacted me in a beautiful way.
The food options and prices are a solid 2.5/5.
The spa is a 2/5 there were minimal options other than the services that you ordered to do while you were there for the day. It is not a spa that you can spend all day at, maybe 2-3 hours before or after your treatment and that's pushing it. However my treatment was a solid 4.5/5, and it's only missing some points because I had a combination massage with energy healing work done and I would have enjoyed her talking me through or telling me parts of what was happening during that time.

Would I come back, YES.
Would I recommend, YES.
Am I going to plan to eat off the resort, YES.
Will I schedule to be at the spa all day instead of classes, NO. (Go three hours before my treatment and thats that)

I can’t find enough words to express how wonderful this place is! Everything from start to finish during my stay was perfect. The staff is so attentive, it feels like they can read your mind. You truly experience genuine kindness and care. All the activities are incredible—you just need to book them, and you could easily spend your entire time at the hotel and still enjoy every moment. The food at the restaurant was delicious and healthy. The spa and massage deserve a special mention, as they were pure bliss! Thank you for this amazing experience; I will definitely be back again!

My (adult) daughter and I had a wonderful time here. We are both athletic (she’s a professional runner) and we both also like yoga, self-care and mind-body classes. The gym is as well-equipped as any standalone gym. We look classes like myofascial release, barre, intro to meditation, sleep sound and numerology. We also enjoyed spa services and the aqua circuit. The dining options and menu are varied and delicious. And we really liked the personal touches. We booked through AMEX Fine Hotels + Resorts so we enjoyed all of the benefits like the resort credit, late checkout and room upgrade.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about CIVANA! From the moment I arrived the front desk staff was so welcoming. The classes are beyond exceptional with great instructors. The spa is state of the art. Gourmet dining options and healthy cafe are a bonus! Private driver to and from the airport was on time and professional! I will be back!

Gorgeous and serene wellness resort perfect for slowing down, regaining center, and reconnecting with self and Spirit. Friendly, accommodating staff and incredibly relaxed atmosphere. Enjoyed a fabulous retreat that left me with profound feelings of gratitude and a renewed sense of grounding, focus and energized emotions. Deeply thankful for a peaceful time soaking up the sun, hiking, meditating, practicing various forms of yoga, enjoying the spa, and indulging in healthy, well prepared meals and beautiful evening swims. Oh, and being awe-inspired by those truly spectacular Sonoran sunsets! Highly recommend!

I was visiting from NYC for a solo 4 day trip.
Absolutely incredible experience. From the gorgeous views to the warm and hospitable staff - CIVANA is definitely a special place. My recommendations for classes: morning meditation with Tia, bands and buns with Victoria or slow flow with Amy. I also loved every single meal I had at Terras. (Salmon toast, breakfast sandwich and blackened tofu to name a few) The spa was also a highlight of my trip enjoying the CIVANA calm massage and then working my way around to the sauna, pool and relaxation area. For a quick morning pick up I enjoyed the green goddess smoothie from seed. If you are hesitating - book the trip! You won’t regret it.

I can’t say enough good things about Civana. Very much needed a “life time out”. The variety of classes available was extraordinarily and every single teacher/trainer I came into contact with was clearly an expert in their field. A mixture of work outs and mindful sessions depending on what you want. The early morning hikes were great too. The room was huge and felt luxurious . All of the staff were so polite and attentive. I tried everything. Extended my trip from 10 to 12 days as I couldn’t bear to leave! Incredibly reasonable prices. The restaurant is awesome and the little cafe Seeds does the most amazing smoothies and lattes. I can’t wait to come back.
