Quick, efficient, and friendly service! Jamila notarized and scanned our document so we could have a digital copy for our records. $10 for the appointment and $5 for the notarization and printing on a Saturday.

Jamila Salmon of City Lyfe is a hero! She is a smart and unstoppable professional who believes in humankind…a rare, precious treasure. She offers legal, administrative services - all the services I cannot find in my fancy neighborhood of useless boutiques. Her office is in a genuinely nice, well-regulated, easily accessible office building in Brooklyn Heights, near the court system. Ms. Jamila Salmon helped my husband, and I complete my Will document. I have been waiting five years to get this done because I couldn't find two people who had time, at the same time, to come with us and do the signing and attestations. That may be hard to believe, but that is the state of the world, unbelievably. Ms. Salmon is very patient, and she has a sharp mind. She is almost magical. She quickly reviewed the Will document and saw the dates were five years old and other errors. “No problem!”, she reassured us. She went over it quickly but efficiently. She marked the areas. She helped me in editing it on my phone, which is a nightmare these days. She helped me to email the corrected copy to her. She didn’t hover but was there when I needed her. She printed out the corrected version. She had two lovely young ladies introduce themselves as my witnesses. Voila! Will signed, witnessed, and fully executed, all while my husband and I sat comfortably and happily in the pleasant surroundings of her charming offices. It seems that wherever Jamila Salmon is, there is hope. She is incredibly smart and also easy to talk to, charming and gracious. Anywhere else, this would have been another frustration in the saga of my Will. This young woman is doing what I always wanted to do, but thought was impossible. She has a Resource Club which provides services to those in need and those not so much in need but stymied. She is honest. Behind her business is the true and optimistic belief that it is necessary to do good in the world. How wonderfully refreshing! She has a fair and ingenious system. Ms. Salmon did not charge my husband or I extra, which she would have been within her rights to do as the errors in my will cost her extra time and work in her busy day. She was unswervingly brilliant and resourceful, courteous, and problem-solving, a great conversationalist, businessperson, and a supporter of humanity. A True Renaissance Woman in the sea of American corruption. She moves energetically from her office through the halls and throughout the large reception area, spreading smiling sunshine and healthy laughter everywhere. When she is seated in her office, she is a formidable fact checker, knowledgeable and familiar with her area of expertise. She knows what to do and how to do it. I love this lady! She is highly evolved, and the world needs more of her. Bravo Jamila Salmon! You do more good than you know.
