Only range in the area that allows paper targets. Make sure you take water because there is none there. Bathroom was clean. Range could use some upkeep-target uprights are most all broken and target netting is falling apart, I took my own target stands and targets. No steel targets allowed. This range is unmanned (no daily support), so make sure you know and adhere to all policies and range safety requirements. DNR staff do come by once in a while daily.

***UNMANED range
its not a bad range, the grass needed to be cut the day I was there, arrived at 9:15 am, the gate was open and not a soul there. I would bring your own target stands and targets, or bring some 5 ft. Wooden Garden Stakes for the bases they have there and some carboard, staples, etc.

tables are perfect if you using a sled for sighting a rifle, they have two short height tables and the remaining others are tall (pistol/Rifle)

between each station is a Screen so no worries about getting hit with hot brass from someone next to you, an they were in good shape too

each table has a wooden seat that spins on a base or they also have stools to sit on.

the covered area is not much wider than 12ft, so not a lot of room for spectators, or a wagon

bring some bug repellent, it'll come in handy, especially in the summer if you have to use the bathroom, lots of flies, its a glorified porta potty, but def cleaner and better than a porta potty!!!

and bring water, I didn't see a spout or fountain. overall def worth visiting

Today was my second time here in 3 days and both days were great! Ross the range master was so polite and helpful, gave me some great pointers and advice on my new .380 that I was having an issue with. Safety conscious but not a micromanager or tyrant. Great person who loves his job and helping shooters! Place is very clean with a restroom. Make sure you have your Georgia fishing/ hunting license and it is free. 10 lanes with screens so your neighbor's hot shells don't land in your hair! Shotguns, rifles, pistols, black powder are all welcome. Know and follow the rules, don't be a jerk and rapid fire 13 rounds like you are in Lethal Weapon and you'll be fine.

Nice set up. Now that it's 'not manned' it gets little trashy, but I have seen people pick up other people's trash keeping it clean.
Make sure to bring your own targets, backboards and maybe stands. The ones there are pretty beat up. The benches are nice and the seats swivel out to accommodate to your shooting posture.
