The reason for my one star is because there were ZERO marked police cars from Running Springs to San Bernardino yesterday. Cars were flying down that mountain driving 80plus miles in a 35 marked area at times. I felt totally unsafe driving with my young granddaughter in the car!!! I mean it was Dangerous! Something must be done. The locals think they own that mountain and are passing unsafely.
Get your act together, and stop this stupidity!

Office 865 Lake Arrowhead, thanks for driving in from Running Springs, always grateful for the California Highway Patrol and service (no matter how remote) irreverant of the wild/mild conditions, location and terrain. Thank you!

Reassuring to see the CHP out on busy 189 and presence is key (per my Criminal Justice Professor) to abating /discouraging crime. No cameras needed---just watchful officer(s). Still in photo op mode.

Less is truly more and there was an oportunity shot on Sunday to get the CHP SUV's (very shiny vehicles) my fault. Look forward to stationary photo ops. Grateful to have our CHP---they escort dignitaries, politicians and are reponsible for safety of our most esteemed residents.

A couple days ago - at late evening - our car broke on Highway 330 with my wife and my 2 years old baby. We had no any phone coverage so we can’t ask any help. The weather was very bad, a couple hours before snowing.

Officer Wilson stopped and saved us. He was very professional and helpful. He returned to our car several times to check of our safety. Thank you for all highway patrol this attitude and specific to officer Wilson.

They waste their time by giving headlight tickets In running springs instead of patrolling the 330 and live oak. Come on. Get the people blasting up and down the mountain and not the hardworking local who just had a small issue and all the damn auto part stores are closed.

Very professional and kind people. Very knowledgeable and if they don't know the answer they will try to find out for you. I don't understand why there's bad reviews, these are genuine and caring people that hold our safety as a top priority.

RACIST! RACIST! YOU WILL BE PROFILED IF YOU AR BLACK BY THIS CHP DEPARTMENT IN LAKE ARROWHEAD AND REPEATEDLY STOPPED FOR NO REASON. THIS CHP IS RUN BY THE KKK !!! BE WARE I HAVE BEEN STOPPED 40 TIMES FOR NO REASON. JUST FOR BEING BLACK.
