Apparently, they're on the take for Walmart now...

My case was closed as "resolved, customer unhappy" without any input from me. Emails show that the last message from Walmart indicated they were trying to see if they could send me a check for the refund. After this, the case was closed with the above status. I have sent multiple follow-up emails to the Walmart contact, but I have been ignored ever since the case was closed. I still have not been refunded.

As someone on disability due to a neurological disease and multiple motor function degradations, I find it completely abhorrent the way I have been treated and railroaded by both Walmart and the BBB in Arkansas.

It is disgusting to be gaslit, silenced, and not allowed to respond—especially when just the process of responding, if I were allowed to, is such a difficult one.

The facts of the case are simple: Walmart owes me over $600 in refunds. They finally admitted this after ignoring my certified letters to the store and the office of the president. However, after engaging the BBB, Walmart continued to send direct emails instead of communicating through the BBB. They did, at one point, put in writing on the BBB platform that the refund was being provided. However, in a direct email, the last message I received from Walmart stated they were looking into whether they could send me a check. Shortly after, Walmart responded on the BBB platform, claiming they had offered a refund. Immediately following that, the BBB closed the case as "resolved, customer unhappy," and Walmart ceased responding over email. They still have not sent a check. I don't understand why they can't simply refund the credit card, but regardless, I have not been refunded, and the BBB closing the case as "resolved, customer unhappy" feels manipulative as hell.

To begin, I have filed several BBB complaints before, as I often have a satisfactory resolution by doing so. My complaint was transferred from the D.C. area’s BBB to the one in Arkansas. I received communication from the BBB in Arkansas that seems heavily biased toward the business I wish to file a complaint against.

I always take the care to leave a detailed complaint and I have never been asked to produce such specific documentation before. I explained several of the business’s failings; I was asked to validate one aspect of the complaint and provide a receipt with the store number and location from an interaction that occurred months ago. Why would the burden of proof for one part of my complaint be on me when the large company no doubt has detailed records and receipts of our many interactions? I feel like requesting that information from me before even forwarding my complaint to the business is unwarranted. It is an unnecessary step that delays the process of progressing my complaint.

The company in question records its phone calls and emails or other forms of written correspondence also validates claims. Why not ask for that proof, if proof were needed at all? I have requested refunds through the BBB before and I have not been asked to produce “proof” of anything. It was up to the business itself to respond. I see from previous reviews of this BBB that they seem to be in favor of businesses rather than with the consumer.

Poor experience. I filed a complaint with their AR location because I do not have the Business's street address so I used the business owner's home address which is in AR and they told me to file again with BBB MS. Without a proper street address I am not abIe to file the complaint against the business. I left a VM as soon as received the complaint ID but did not hear any response back yet.

How about taking complaints down over the phone? Asher towing stole my vehicle I believe with the help from the state. I hope people know that the bbb can’t do anything to non members. Meaning no one has to join. They can only be under scrutiny if they pay fees. Seems like people should know that.

Do not do business with Three Little Blooms Flowers!
The owner Kortney lacks in customer service skills and runs an all around scam! I hired her to do my parents 65th anniversary party and I personally was out of state so I had to trust she was honest.
I spent thousands of dollars in center pieces and they were delivered at 10am and were dead by 4pm.
Kortney did not apologize and was disrespectful and rude! Never asked what she could do to make things better.
Kortney is rude disrespectful and is selling dead flowers!
You can get better flowers at sams!
Worst flower shop in Arkansas!

We Were members for 2 years snd on the 3 year we had a 1 year membership and just because we moved to Colorado and continued business they terminated our membership with 0 refund.

They are unresponsive and not helpful. If your industry doesn’t require it don’t waste your money.

The BBB of Arkansas prefers to protect businesses, rather than the customers. Ashton Jewell is a joke! He closed the complaint, because it was (supposedly) missing a bit of "required" information, instead of reaching out to me to get it. Hey BBB, if something is "required", make sure to have a dedicated textbox saying it's required!!!
