Being HEARD is just as valuable. As corporations and wealthy people take advantage of poor or under educated citizens, small claims court is only recourse. Being treated fairly and as a Human being, evens the playing field. Small claims court might be the individuals only chance to be heard. Beki Berrey robbed me of my dignity and my voice. As well as my Faith and trust in the judicial system. Entered her presence with Respect and Faith, and an application into Berkeley Law. Left in tears, further victimized, questioning Humanity. The Bad guys won and she allowed it.

Beki is diligent, professional and hands on attorney. She understands when a person hires an attorney it is usually not at their best times and she’s very aware of that and helps the client with that in mind.

I’m am the father of my custody case where beki is my child’s mother’s attorney. Beki has been manipulative since the start, Becky is also very unprofessional in my opinion at one point, I requested a copy of our paperwork because they were claiming I needed to do a specific task when I asked for the paperwork her exact words were I don’t work for you and she left it at that. It has been almost 16 months since I’ve seen my daughter Becky has weaponized the family law system to punish instead of finding common ground for the best interest of the child. for the record, she does not have the best interest in the Child in mind. She has the best interest for her career in mind. I thought I would leave this review because she’s running for judge and I don’t think an individual like this should be elected as a judge, I have countless evidence of malpractice and weaponizing the family law system so before you hire this individual, you need to know that this is about money and power for her and has nothing to do with the well-being of your child. She has helped facilitate and keep my child away from me for 16 months , for no reason, other than money and power.

Beki was professional during the initial agreement we put forth on our custody battle but in the end she did not fight for our needs at all. She started trying to, in turn make the other attorney happy more so then us. Also, she needs to realize we are paying for a service and do not attempt to boss around her clients. We understand hiring an attorney is expensive but Her charges are outrageous as well. $60-120 to read one email, write a couple sentenced email and the same goes with listening to a single voicemail. Definitely would recommend someone more professional and caring. As we all know hiring an attorney for family law is a very sensitive matter and Beki did not impress what so ever.

If you need a lawyer please take the time to read my review. I’ll start off by simply saying, Beki is nothing if she isn’t considerate, communicative, supportive, understanding, honest, genuine, direct, consistent, capable, thoughtful, detail oriented, assertive, compassionate, precise, timely, and worth every dime.
Her ability to manage your case timely and effectively is honorable, her contracts are clear, her billing is easy to understand and is detailed with specifics.. she works solely on your case meaning she is well versed and ensures she has paid close attention to details. She makes herself available to you and is very personable and like-able, she never makes you feel stupid for asking a question or having to clarify something. She is human and relatable.. She listens. I was feeling overwhelmed before hiring her. I had done most of the case work myself up to that point, and was beginning to feel pressured and bullied by my ex’s lawyer. I needed someone to help me maneuver through the toughest part of my case.
The other party seemed to have made our case easier by not doing what was required, but Beki didn’t settle on ease, she prepared, she researched and built a strong case. She filed additional motions and requested sanctions that helped our case in the end.
I was able to finally get divorced after nearly two years from our separation date, she was persistent and an advocate for my rights through the circus act being played out on the other side. I was able to keep my home and my retirement and for that I am forever grateful. That may not always be the outcome for everyone- but even so, I was prepared to deal with whatever it ended up being because the outcome either way, was not kept a mystery to me. I felt educated and empowered and supported. I tried to not put all my eggs in one basket in case the courts didn’t rule in my favor, regardless- we came prepared, we had all our supporting documentations, we were able to stand on our honor and the work done by her and myself to prepare, and the outcome was great!
Do yourself a favor and be a resource for your lawyer. Help get them what they need to build a good case for you! I appreciate Beki for her loyalty to her clients and for her hard work ethic. I appreciate her honesty and respect her abilities. This may have been an open shut, or simple win, I don’t know. I would recommend her and have! I knew when I peeped her web site I’d like her, at consultation I knew she was the right fit, and having worked with her and had the pleasure of meeting her and getting to know her personally, I would say I would have her as a friend. She’s genuinely an awesome person and her work is a reflection of her passion.
Don’t pass this one up.
